"Well, Zar, what do you think? Should the team consist of mainly Psychic, Ghost, and or Ghost-types?" Dexter asked as he set foot on the first part of Route One. +That would be an interesting mix, Dex. I think you should have two of each at least, if possibly,+
Zar said as he glided beside Dexter. "You know what would be really great, Zar?" Dex said, glancing from side to side, wondering what Pokemon he would encounter. +Uhm... if you ran into an abandoned Pokeball with a Pokemon in it?+ Zar asked. "What I was thinking exactly," Dex replied. +Well, I must be a good guesser... Either that, you're too obvious, or I've been with you too long to not know what you're thinking,+ Zar said happily. A small, white-and-red sphere lay deserted underneath a bush a ways up the path. Dexter and Antozaro were not yet aware of it, but they would be soon enough. +Hey, let's rest a while, take in the scenery. Get nice and relaxed before we encounter anything,+ Zar suggested, doing a few spins ahead of Dexter as he waited for him to catch up. "Ah, but then you'd be unaware of anything. You'd be too relaxed to recognize a surprise attack, Zar," Dex pointed out. +Nonsense! I just like taking a good look at scenery before it get demolished by battles,+ Zar commented, straying off of the route. "Well, I suppose, Zar. Just don't wander off too far. I'll be writing in my journal," Dexter said as he lay against a tree and pulled out his journal log and began to write. Zar was darting to and fro, inspecting every inch of the surroundings within a 50-yard radius around where they were. A certain bush caught his eye, or rather not the bush, but what was underneath it. Slowly gliding over, he cocked his head slightly, inspecting it. It couldn't be... could it? He stuck half of his body into the bush and pried it out, falling on his rear-end as the object rolled a few feet behind him and stopped. Zar got up and looked at ti; it was, in fact, a Pokeball. And judging by its weight, it had an occupant as well. Zar crept up to it and poked it, making it wobble. Nothing happened. Zar then began carrying it in his arms, struggling to keep hold of the slick surface as he rushed back to Dexter. Dexter had just started a new sentence when he heard his Ralts coming up, being quite noisy as well. "What is it now, Zar? You find some tasty berries or something?" Dexter asked, resting his head against the trunk of the tree and closed his eyes. +No, Dex! It's better, much better! Look, look! It's what you said you wanted!+ Zar said excitedly as he came up beside Dexter, dropping the Pokeball in his lap as he collapsed, out of breath. Dexter opened his eyes to see a Pokeball sitting in his lap. "Where'd you get this, Zar?" Dexter asked, eyeing it suspiciously. +Found it... under... a bush!+ Zar said, panting heavily but with excitement. "You sure you didn't steal it from an innocent passing-by trainer that took no notice?" Dexter asked. +Yes, I'm sure! Open it, Dexter! I want to see what's inside!+ Zar said eagerly. "Well, alright... Here goes nothing," Dexter said as he stood up, holding the unfamiliar Pokeball in his hands. He pressed the center button, and watched as a red beam of light came from it, and a Pokemon materliazed before them... It was as if it had awoken from a long slumber. It felt the breeze upon its body, the sun, and the most clear was that of two more beings around it. It opened its eyes, revealing dark black sockets with red centers. "Zar! It's a Duskull!" the trainer said. +Duskull look so much more menacing than in the pictures,+ the Ralts commented, uneasy about the Duskull. The Duskull looked from Dexter to the Ralts, then back to Dexter. It hadn't spoken in a while, and it remained silent so as to gain its speech back. "Well, either way, Zar. Isn't it ironic, though? The Pokeball you found happened to be a Duskull, one of my favorite Pokemon. This is really great, Zar! You get another companion now," Dex said. +Thank you for releasing me!+ the Duskull suddenly exclaimed as it flew towards Dexter and glomped his leg. Dexter raised his eyebrows as the Ghost-type glomped his leg and Zar began a squeaky laugh. "Ok, so... What was the last thing you remember?" Dexter asked the Duskull, once they had gotten settled. +All I remember is being caught, really. And just before than, something like an attack of furious Pidgey to my new trainer. I think my old trainer dropped me, and I was forgotten in the struggle or whatever it was that followed. There wasn't snow around when it happened, though. It was really warm,+ the Duskull explained. "That means you've been here for quite a while then? Wow... I can't believe you were just forgotten like that... Would you like to come with us?" Dexter suggested, a lot of sympathy showing in his voice. +Come? I would love to! It has always been my dream to find a trainer!+ the Duskull exclaimed, tackling Dexter affectionately to the ground and hugging him. "Hey, hey, alright! But we really got to work on this glomping thing," Dexter suggested as the Duskull reluctantly let go. "Zar, a little help? I can't think up of a decent name for him" Dexter said, eyeing the Duskull and his Ralts as they hovered next to each other in front of him. +How about Saren? I like that name,+ Zar said. "That came quick... I like that name, too. What do you think of the name Saren?" Dexter asked his newly-found Duskull. +Mmm. I like. I like a lot. It's original,+ the Duskull said. "Alright, then. It's settled. Welcome to the team, Saren," Dexter said. He prepared himself this time for a glomp, and continued walking even as Saren was attached to his arm. "We've got a lot of work to to," Dexter said, smiling and shaking his head as he put his hat back on and continued walking forwards. +There's nothing interesting going on, Dex. When will we run into a wild Pokemon?+ Zar complained about ten minutes into the route. So far, they had seen many wild Pokemon, but none had been up for a battle; all were in their burrows, trees, and so on. It was clear that not many liked the snow that wasn't even melting, despite the sun being out for once. +Zar, you gotta be patient! Not everything happens as quickly as you want it to,+ Saren said, his beady red eyes darting from side to side in search of a possible candidate for a battle. "Thank you, Saren. Now, Zar, we will come upon something sooner or later, you just wait," Dexter said, also wondering if they would even encounter anything today.

ooc// Hey, you deserve the first ever plot-related thread, although the atual plot is something noone but me knows. Cos everyone likes surprises.
ic// Watching the scene, a brown fluffy fox was hiding in a bush. It grew excited, making the leaves of said bush rustle. Eventually it let out a little squeal of delight and wonder, before clamping it's mouth shut in horror. Oops. And... yes, it seemed the trainer had heard it! Being an extremely rare and loved Pokemon, it prefered to stay out of the way of trainers. The last time it had been spotted, it had been severely injured. If only trainers didn't immediately attack everything they saw, and thought things through instead. That would be lovely.
As Dexter caught sight of it, it figured it might as well speak the reason for it's excitement. Coming out the bush, it grinned. ~Hello, trainer. My name is Eevee. Please, please, give Mr. Duskull a good home. His Pokeball's been there since summer, but none of the Cutie Club have been able to open the Pokeball. We don't know how, and we've tried everything. Even pressing the button like you did didn't work for some reason. We keep trying to tell trainers to get the Pokeball, but they always attack us and try to catch us without listening to what we have to say. Some of us even get caught and go away forever.~ Eevee shuddered.
Behind it, a group of Pokemon stood waiting; a Centret, Shinx, Pichu, Skitty, Buneary and Mime Jr. They moved forward, and the Eevee ran back to them, where they began to whisper. Then the Pichu stepped forward. ~H-hello, trainer. In case you were wondering, we are the Cutie Club. We are the cutest Pokemon in all Evergreen Road, and we help each other get better so we might join a Coordinater if we like them enough. Although, I think some of us wouldn't mind a trainer. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, some mean have been here. They made the Pidgey go weird and attack Mr. Duskull's trainer. They even made Pokemon look weird, in color and shape. Some got wings, some died, some grew tails or arms or legs. They are still here, but noone knows about them except us. We descided humans would be able to take care of it easier.~ it said, with tears in it's eyes.
Hey. Something was definately going on here. A group of bad people making Pokemon change, turn evil and 'disappear'? Sounds a lot like Team Magma and Aqua, but they're far away from here. What's up with Sinjoenn?

ooc:// Woah, seriously? xD It just randomly came to mind and I typed it out Hehe, they always say great minds think alike Also, off topic... I showed my bro a pic I drew and I did some illustrating on it and I used ' 'Cos ' on it, and he's like 'Isn't it 'cause, not 'cos?' and I had to explain to him that 'cos is shorter than 'cause and most people use 'cos now xD Anyways...
ic:// Dexter had heard some commotion near a bush, but he wasn't sure whether to go find out what it was, if it would attack them, or something else. He paused though, looking in that direction for a while before slowly continuing on. Then he caught a glimpse of a furry brown creature and stopped as it came out to him. Zar and Saren stopped and looked puzzledly at what now was obviously an Eevee.
Dexter and Zar listened intently as the Eevee told the short story. That was really odd... the part about Saren not being able to be released from his Pokeball, that is. "That's really odd... But, you don't have to worry. Any of you; whoever those people were, I'll be sure to find out who. I'm sorry that this happened," Dexter said, not sure what to say to the Cutie Club. They did look cute, actually.
Dexter really did wonder what was going on; who would get wild pidgey to attack trainers when they tried catching Pokemon? And who would be capable of that? He didn't know of any teams in this region... But of course, he was new to it, so there was likely some team that stood for evil and the likes...
ooc2:// sorry for crappy reply o.x had to cut it short so i can get to bed really quick D:

Skitty laughed and did a backwards flip. ~You're really going to help us! YAY!~ it clapped it's paws together. Clearly they must have known this for a long time. It was always worse if you held onto a secret about something terrible for a long amount of time.
Eevee tugged at Dexter's trouser leg. ~Come on, I'll show you where the bad men are! You might want to get help as well!~ it squeaked, before bounding off into the trees, it's puffy tail bobbing as it did so. The other Pokemon scrambled into action, racing after it.
After about five minutes of racing past the trees, Dexter, Zar, Saren, Eevee, Centret, Shinx, Skitty, Pichu, Buneary and Mime Jr. slowed as the path became smothered in thick black smoke. Mime Jr. explained that no humans or Pokemon had discovered the men because none of them had wanted to go through the horrible chocking smoke. They brushed past some leaves and passed small machines spewing it out. The group were sure it was toxic for the occasional coughing Pokemon heading in the other direction. Once the machines were passed, the air was clean so not to harm the people there.
There were six of them, and a seventh, who seemed to be the leader. She was pacing along the top of a huge machine, shouting orders to the men below. They seemed to be striving to create a machine. So far, a huge net was in place, with a few wheels scattered around. They were all wearing the same uniform; black hoodies with dark grey pants. The back of the hoodies were enblazoned with a dark golden 'V'. Seven of them against one of Dexter... not an even match. He should call someone, if not to get more people aware of this, then to get help. But who to call? Police? Rangers? Hey, anyone strong and clever, with links and able to solve the mystery Sinjoenn seemed to be gradually sinking into.

"Of course I'll help you. I'm not the type to back down from danger, no matter how dangerous," Dex said. It made him wonder why the Pokemon were so excited for him helping them; surely other trainers had passed by that were not craving a battle?
Dexter followed the Eevee, not sure where they were going. But... help? That could be a problem. Unless he got a legendary to help sort things out here, which would be impossible, there was no way that they would be able to help.
Zar and Saren were exchanging quiet words as they raced a couple seconds behind Dexter and the others. Surely there had to be some strong Pokemon around to help out? If they could get enough strong Pokemon to do whatever the Cutie Club wanted, then they could have a chance at whatever it was. Their thoughts changed as they passed through the smoke, careful not to cough too loudly in case any of the 'bad' humans heard them. They were very relieved when they got through it, finally.
Dexter crouched down behind a bush, watching the six people and the apparently woman in charge. This reminded him of other teams almost, though... since he was before actual bad people, it seemed slightly frightening. What were they creating, and why? Dexter wondered. "Are there any strong Pokemon around that any of you know? Any that will help fight these people, perhaps? I don't know what I'd be able to do just with Saren and Antozaro. I mean, I might be tough, but seven people with likely much stronger Pokemon... I wouldn't stand a chance," Dexter said in a quiet voice. If he ran to get help wherever, it may be too late by the time he came back. Surely they weren't there 24/7; they had to be camping out somewhere, right?
ooc:// Are you having any ideas for 'help'? Because, I'm not really sure if I should bring Optimus or Mewtwo or what.... =/

Eevee looked thoughtfull as Dexter asked his question. ~Um, I don't think so. I heard about something called polimen which you call on a phone. The patrol ones have stuff like Growlithe. The higher up ones have stronger Pokemon. And rangers ar good too.~ It squeaked. Rangers were strong. But perhaps it meant something else by 'polimen'.
Just as three of the men walked out of sight, carrying a heavy wheel on the leader's orders, Dexter's cell phone trilled. He answered it. "Hello? This is the police. We're sending four offiers and four rangers down. We've just heard news of a boy and lots of Pokemon trapped in an area with a large machine and potential members of a new team. On closer inspection, we found the boy's name is Dexter and his number was traced. We expect you to cooperate, Dexter. See you in a few minutes." A rough, deep voice emitted from the phone. Well, speak of the devil and the devil shall appear.
After a little patient waiting, two small off-road cars pulled up silently beside Dexter. One car held the police, the other the rangers. The ranger's partner Pokemon were a Gardevoir, Lucario, Pidgeot and Dragonite. The police had an Infernape, Xatu, Arcanine and Shiftry. A member of the police stepped forward. "You are Dexter, right? Well, we're going to have to team up if we want to defeat this new team. By the way, this is Laura and Gardevoir, Kyle and Lucario, Luke and Pidgeot, Jenny and Dragonite, her brother Jimmy and Infernape, Sarah and Xatu, Liz and Arcanine and I am Max, with Shiftry." Max explained.

ooc:// I didn't even know we had cell phones... And, random question, but... how exactly did they know about Dexter and the others being over there...?
ic:// Polimen? Dexter wondered what that meant, then got to thinking... Perhaps it was 'policemen' that the Eevee had meant. That made sense after the Eevee described what it was talking about.
Dexter was surprised his cell phone trilled; he hadn't even known he had one; it must've come with the starter pack, he decided. He hadn't even said a word before the voice talked, and then hung up. That was... strange. He put the cell phone back into his pack and waited.
Zar and Saren felt quite uneasy about this. Sure, they had help, but... what if it wasn't enough? They didn't say anything to Dexter, or anyon else for that matter, but were by themselves, away from the group. "Uhm... Yes. How'd you know my name?" Dexter asked. "It's... nice to meet all of you," Dexter said awkwardly to te introductions. He liked the Gardevoir and Xatu a lot, but he kept it to himself. He had only ever seen them in action on TV; it would be great to see them in real life. "And, how exactly are we going to work this out? Just pop out of the bushes and declare a battle?" Dexter asked. It sounded almost ridiculous to him, but hey; whatever the rangers and policemen wanted, he'd be right behind them.

Kyle grinned. He and Max stepped forward, hands on Dexter's shoulders. "We have our ways. Binoculars. Heat-sensitive goggles. Genetically engeniered Pokemon. But that information is classified." he smiled as the twelve other rangers, policemen and Pokemon formed a tight circle around Dexter and his Pokemon. Max laughed coldly. "In fact, I think we just told you too much. We might have to silence you."
Lucario howled. His hands were glowing with purple aura. For a moment it looked as though it had taken Dexter's side, but Kyle put his arm around his neck and pushed his arms down. "Cool it, Lucario. You don't want to attract attension from the real police and rangers. Don't worry, we'll get our fun later." he said. Lucario nodded, his teeth bared, and the light faded from his clenched fists. However, his or Shiftry's eyes never left Dexter.
"Alright, Pokemon, get the Duskull and Ralts. Teammates, help me with the boy. You too, Shiftry and Lucario." Max sneered. Luke and Pidgeot darted to the vans, carrying between them two cages. They dropped them at Max's feet. "The Pokemon-proof cages, sir." Luke declared, saluting Max, clearly in charge of this group, before retreating back into the circle. The Pokemon immediately went for Soren and Zar. Eevee and it's little group was nowhere to be seen; either they had chickened out and abandoned Dexter, or had hidden to help if the threesome were captured.
With much effort, Zar, Soren and Dexter were tied up, gagged and caged. The team's combined efforts carried them inside the giant machine. They were brought inside a door that read 'Senoir Leader'.
Inside, it looked very modern, scientific and secure. As if the fiber-glass enforced titanuim would never break. Which it probable wouldn't. Perhaps it was designed to keep something strong inside... or out. The lady from earlier was filling in paperwork at a desk. She looked up when the team made their arrival. "Wait outside. Good work." she told them, and they obeyed.
Then she spoke to Dexter, sitting in his cage. "So, spy on our plans, huh? You'll never uncover our secret. Oh, yes, you now know we can impersonate people most effectively, but you would never be able to stop our ultimate plan. Even I, one of the highest ranked members of Team Vex, am not trusted with the plans. Only our leader knows. Just in case one of us gets tortured. Hey, since you're about to die, I'll let you in on my task. Capture Celebi and alter it's DNA to turn it evil, then extract said DNA and capture it, put it under mind control so Team Vex have complete rule over it's power, and take it back to the boss. I've already completed the first part of the task; that's why this machine that contains the DNA editor and Celebi must be so indestructable. Now, come here and let me kill you. I'm sure Celebi's hungry."
She unlached the Dexter's cage. The keys to Soren and Zar's shared one was still on her desk. But in between that stood a giant Absol. Well, an Absol cyborg to be exact. Half it's face was a mass of wires and metal. It blinked its one normal eye, the other a metal orb with a pinpoint of light for a pupil. ~Command... understood. Kill the boy.~ it said in perfectly clear English. This Pokemon was definately once human, but not any more. It lunged at Dexter, razor- literally- claws at the ready.
ooc// Full credit goes to Alpha Suicune for creating the awesome cyborg Absol!

Dexter wasn't sure what to think about what Max had said. He froze at the 'genetically engineered pokemon' bit and immediately knew something was up. It was confirmed as soon as he saw the tight circle form around him. Silence him? Dexter's legs didn't feel normal anymore as he heard that one word; 'Silence'.
Dexter almost felt relieved when the Lucario began to apparently take his side. He was quite disappointed when Kyle restrained him from doing so. Have their fun later? Dexter could only imagine what they had in store for him...
At the order of them getting him, and his Pokemon, Dexter finally came to his senses. He tried to fight back, and could hear the struggle of Zar and Saren. Finally, he gave up and let himself get tied up, knowing he was no match for these fake rangers and policemen. He wondered where the 'Cutie Club' had gone off to. Had they been part of this scheme as well? Dexter felt he couldn't trust anyone or anything ever again.
"Well, they always say people are in the wrong place at the wrong time. I got a few tips about your little operation here, though," he said as he leaned back against the back of the cage. He listened attentitively to what she had to say, in case he did, somehow make it out alive despite what she said. "You know, that's a pretty good idea, but what makes you think that you can keep Celebi under mind control? Technology these days is never perfect," Dexter said.
Dexter scooted back in his cage even more once he rested his eyes upon the cyborg Absol. That's what he figured they meant by a version of 'genetically engineering Pokemon'. He thought about Celebi; a mere innocent Pokemon wanted for use of greed and power. Why were humans so cruel? He was amazed that the Absol could speak perfectly clear English. He snapped out of amazement as soon as it lunged at him. Still tied up, he knew he had little chance of survival against a half-robot Pokemon. Dexter didn't make a sound, but rather just closed his eyes and waited for whatever was going to happen to happen. He sent a quick silent prayer to whatever God there was to at least save Antozaro, Saren, and the Celebi.
ooc:// Dude. That Absol scares me just be hearing it described xD

Dexter was braced for impact, when... ~Oi! Big metal jerk! Over here!~
Absol growled, turning for the Pichu. The mouse let out a single laugh before darting off. It was much faster than the Disaster Pokemon. Suddenly the ropes binding Dexter fell loose and Zar was in his arms. Mime Jr. was smiling, rope in its paw, while Eevee held the key to Zar and Soren's open cage door in it's teeth. Throwing it where it thudded against Absol's metal flank, it put a paw on Dexter's foot. ~We were the only three that managed to get in through the vents. The others are either keeping lookout or were caught.~
~Please help us save Shinx and Skitty. Who knows what they'll do to them!~ Mime Jr. pleaded. Pichu shut Absol in a closet. ~We'd better hurry, before Absol gets out! Quick!~ it squeaked. As the group dashed out the door, the lady shrieked for them to stop, to no avail. The sound of splintering wood echoed through the machine; Absol had got out.
The group randomly hurried through the machine, leaving false trails and such to lead the hunting Absol away. Perhaps the wolf was the subject of one of their 'mind-control' experiments. At least, it certainly seemed determined to fullfill this cruel command. They were out of breath when they stopped by two identical doors, panting.
[ccolor=brown]~I heard them mention experiments, DNA testing, and Celebi when Shinx and Skitty were captured. They must have taken them there. Who knows what horrible things will happen to them!~ Eevee whimpered. Tears were forging dent in it's soft brown fur. Mime Jr. pointed to the sign. Apparently, it was the smartest, and the only one who could read. ~But the doors say 'Legend experiment. Do not enter. Danger of death', and the other one says, 'DNA experiment. Do not enter. Danger of death'.~ it explained, voice wavering with fear.
Voices drifted down the corridor. From the oppisite end, Absol's claws clicked on the metal floor. The doors had devices on the top designed to take any germs off you as you entered or left, which would mask a scent as well. So which door would Dexter go through; the first one to save or be killed by this hungry Celebi, or the second to save Shinx and Skitty, possibly witnessing terrible things as well?

Dexter was surprised to hear the familiar voice of the Pichu. He opened his eyes to see the Cyborg Absol begin chasing the Pichu around.
When he felt the ropes around him fall to the bottom of the cage, and Zar appear in his arms, he was in shock. So, maybe he could trust these Pokemon... but, still, they could be part of the 'plan' or something. They could be brainwashed for all he knew. He listened to the Eevee; keeping lookout... or caught? Well, that was just great. If they weren't bad already, they soon would be.
Dexter couldn't resist the pleading voice of Mime Jr... but, what would happen to the poor Celebi? He couldn't just let them do whatever to it. If he did, he knew he would regret it dearly. Upon hearing the Pichu, Dexter got up, and Zar and Saren followed in tow.
"Don't worry, we'll figure out a way to free your friends," Dexter said reasuringly, reading the labels on the door at the same time Mime Jr. had. Glancing down at the Eevee, Dexter almost didn't know what to do; attempt to free the Celebi and let the two Pokemon that had been caught suffer whatever fate lay in store for them, or let one of the legendaries turn evil and save two common Pokemon.
Upon hearing voices and the clicking of the Cyborg Absol's claws, he quickly made a decision; they would split up and at least attempt to save the legendary and the Pokemon's two friends. "I have an idea. You three take Zar and free your friends. I'll take Saren and try to do whatever I can to free the Celebi, or die trying. If you need any help, ask Zar to ask me; he can use telepathy," Dexter said. Before waiting for a reply, he pushed open the door that said 'Legend experiment. Do not enter. Danger of death', allowing to be wiped clean of germs, Saren right behind him. "Good luck," Dexter said just before the door closed.
Zar watched as Dexter and Saren went into the obviously more dangerous room. Well, he had told him to help the others; obviously he didn't want Zar with him, for if he died, Zar would likely die, too. +You heard him; let's go! We don't have that much time!+
Zar said as he struggled to push open the opposite door. ooc:// sorry I haven't been on lately... I've been really busy with other things in real life and haven't had time to get on here in a while =/ I should be on later today though for sure, and will try to get on tomorrow, if the chance arises. As Dexter opened to door, a furious roar met his ears as it thudded shut again. The room was a small thin platform with a set of stairs leading down to a large square lined with scientific-looking stuff. In front of him was a tall glass clinder linked to a machine which gave readings for unknown things. But the thing inside the container was the most special.
It was Celebi.
But not the evil, howling Celebi you expected, in fact, the howling was coming from a different source. This Celebi seemed weakened. She had her eyed closed, an expression of great pain on her face. She sensed Dexter's arrival and cautiously opened one eye. When it wasn't a member of Team Vex, she sighed.
~Boy...~ she spoke in a high, echoing voice, but human language none the less. ~Boy, leave this room. Team Vex have done many terrible things to me, and they do not have any intent of stopping soon. If you are here to save me, then I thank you, but you must not risk it. My life is not worth it. If you are trying to stop Team Vex from commiting the evil of manipulating my mind... I am afraid you are too late. They were unableto turn me evil, so they created another me. Using my DNA, they have cloned me. They made this clone evil. That is what you here snarling presently. She hurts me, boy. As much as you would like to free me, she will certainly find a way out. I suppose I might be able to defeat her occasionaly at my full strength, but you stand no chance.~ the legendary explained, a tear trickling down her cheeks. The snarling grew louder as Dexter walked closer to a cage with fiberglass bars. In between said bars, crackling purple energy pulsated along, preventing the Pokemon within from escaping. It was to be noted that this cage was far bigger, taking up much of the wall. The creature inside was the most amazing. It was Celebi. Again. But like the Celebi who had just spoken, this one was black. Its eyes were blood red and glistened with the stuff. Yuk. She snarled again, hurling herself at the walls of her cage. If only there was some way to release the good Celebi... how about that 'emergancy release' button at the back of the machine? With Zar, Eevee, Pichu and Mime Jr., the room was lined with cages containing Pokemon, some mutated, who were making various pleading sounds. There was a gaurd on one side of the room, six Pokeballs lining his belt. Thankfully, he was a alseep. In his hand, a set containing hundreds of keys, each laybelled, was swaying gently. Obviously it was for the ages. The question was, how to get them from the guard?

Dexter felt a chill run down his spine as he heard the roar of something that sounded almost inhuman. He turned slowly to see a huge glass cylinder and many things that looked like machines taking readings from whatever was inside the glass cylinder. Upon moving closer, he noticed that it was, in fact... Celebi.
Not the Celebi he had imagined, though. He had always thought of Celebi as happy, lively, and powerful... invincible, even. But at its present state, it didn't look close to any of those thoughts. It still made Dexter wonder where that.. roaring.. had come from. If it wasn't this weakened Celebi... what was it from?
Dexter's attention was focused completely on the Celebi in the glass cylinder now. As it spoke, it was as if he could hear nothing else besides its voice. He listened to the Celebi, but he knew that he wouldn't listen, even if it meant sacrificing himself to stop Team Vex from keeping one of the good legendaries captive.
A snarling drew Dexter towards another cage that was very much bigger and had a crackling purple energy along the bars. He looked closer to see Celebi again, but... in a much different way. He took one look at it and immediately wished he hadn't. Just the sheer look of it made him have goosebumps. He turned back to the good Celebi and walked around the glass cylinder machine, looking for any means of releasing her. "Well, she will be let out sooner or later, that I know. But I'm not just going to leave you here, as much as you want me to. The sooner I free you, the sooner you can regain your strength, and live to fight another day. I didn't get captured by Team Vex for nothing; just escaping to tell the tale wouldn't be enough," Dexter said, glancing down at Saren, whose black and red eyes had the look of fear in them as it stared at the evil version of Celebi. Dexter looked at the 'emergency release' button on the back of the machine and quickly pressed it, hoping it would do what he wanted.
Zar motioned for the Pokemon that were being held to quiet it down a little. +Shh! It will be alright! Just keep it down a notch, please, so we can work our magic,+
he said after his motion for silence. He looked across the room to see the guard, asleep... with the keys in his hands. He could tell they were for the cages, but... they needed a plan to get them away from the guard without waking him up. +Anyone have any ideas on how to get the keys?+ he asked quietly whiel pointing at the keys, so as not to wake up the guard. +Because, this is not really my expertise field...+ he admitted, scratching his green head as he tried thinking up of a way to get the keys. The glass of Celebi's container slowly slid down. For some reason, no alarms had got off. Celebi grinned and raised a handfull of wires- she must have disabled the alarms. ~Thank you, trainer! I am in debt to you! If you ever need anything, just think my name while trying to use a telepathic connection, and I'll be there before you know it. Take right now for instance; I'll help you out of the machine.~ she said promisingly. If I were you, I ould save this for when you really need it.
However, there was always a catch. The dilemna; whether to let the evil Celebi wreak hovoc in the wild or do Arceus-knows-what in the hands of Team Vex. The good news was this dilemna had been solved, the bad news was that bloodthirsty eyes were now piercing into Dexter's a few inches from his face. 'Emergancy Release' must have meant everything. Celebi roared. Then she clapped her hands over her ears and began to sing in an eirie tone, rising and falling with cresendos and diminuindos which chilled past your bones, to your soul. Perish Song. Although, with the fact that this Celebi was evil, it would probably kill instead of faint. If Dexter did not hear all of it, however, it would not work. Knowing this, the original Celebi used Leaf Storm, stopping the evil one from singing. Well, here's something you don't see every day, eh? ~Quick! Go! I'll be right with you!~ the good Celebi told Dexter as she opened the door using telekenisis.
Luckily for Zar and the others, all the cages included the ones of the trapped Pokemon. They jumped out their cages, making huge amounts of noise as they chattered in excitement. Shinx and Skitty soon found their way to their friends, adding to the noise as they hugged. This was sure to add attract the attension of a Team Vex member, and the one in this room was already stirring. The door was closed, and unfortunately some of the still, cold Pokemon remained in their cages. Some of the escaped Pokemon were wailing as they found their mates dead. All that was needed was some order; the door would easily open, as Zar had already done.

Dexter watched as the glass container slowly slid down, freeing Celebi. He was quite surprised no alarms of any sort went off, and gave a grin back at Celebi when he saw she had the wires in her hands which he figured disabled the alarms. Dexter listened to Celebi's mini speech of gratitude and considered her offer. If he used her help now, he could get in a more sticky situation later and be SOL... "Anything to ensure your safety, Celebi. But, I'm sure we can find a way out of here... besides, I'm sure help is needed next door," Dexter said. It occurred to him how calmly he was speaking to this legendary; almost as if she were Zar or his mom or dad.
Dexter turned around to stare the evil Celebi straight in the eyes. He held the gaze for a while, not knowing what to do. He stuttered backwards a few steps at the Celebi's roar and when he regained his balance, it was all he could do from crying out from the horrid noise emanating from her. He tried covering his ears, but it didn't help any. He glanced over at Saren, who was going crazy with the noise, running in circles and looking quite confused as he tried covering his ears. He was relieved when it stopped, at least temporarily. When the Celebi said to go, he went. Out the door, and into the next door, his mind wondering what had happened to the Cyborg Absol and the trainers that had been pursuing them earlier.
Zar sighed, knowing this would be useless. How could he get the Pokemon to listen to him? +Oi! All you pitiful Pokemon in here, listen up!+
he shouted, not caring if the Guard woke up now or not. If he could get the Pokemon to cooperate with him, it wouldn't be a problem defeating the Team Vex's Pokemon and the Trainer himself. +Alright, so you got caught, got experimented on and whatnot. So what? Aren't you still alive? Yes, a few did not make it, and I'm sorry for that, but there's nothing we can do for your friends, mates, siblings, whoever did not make it. Right now, if you want to live, you have to listen! You need to cooperate with each other, combine your powers as one. Just think of the stories you could tell everyone if you escaped this giant piece of scrap metal! If you wish, you can bring whoever did not make it so they can rest in peace and not have to be disposed of here. We can do this! Now, who's with me?+ Zar said, his voice barely above the rest of the commotion. Zar could tell that Dexter had gotten some luck, but he couldn't tell what kind. It almost seemed as if something bad was happening, but it went away. Soon, he was answered though as Dexter burst into the room, the good Celebi and Saren in his wake. That was a huge relief; his trainer had survived! And, he had Celebi with him!
