It was pretty hard to tell where you were going in this place, since the snow was blanketing everything in sight. White was pretty much the only color able to be seen for miles, the sky being the only other pigment. The snow flakes didn't help much, it only made things worse for Dante and his two Pokemon, Beldum and Tropius, who were both still shaking from the time he had let Beldum out. Dante was no different, his arms pressed againt his chest, rubbing his hands up and down his shoulders to create some friction. He wasn't much delighted of the whole freezing to death thing, so what ever could help warm him, he would try.
He felt bad about having nothing to keep the Pokemon warm. He just hoped that they would pull through for him. From what Dante could see, no Pokemon were out wandering like they did on warmer days, which really wasn't much of a surprise to him. He wouldn't be out and about either in this weather. If only he were a big lover of Fire pokemon, maybe then could he have had an Arcanine with him to heat things up. A gust blew over the large pathway, sending a huge shiver down the backs of the three travelers, who were now shaking more than ever.
Was there really any use in even trying to cross Route One today? Seriously, couldn't Dante try another day... when it was warmer? His Pokemon would enjoy it, no doubt, but he wanted to start his journey as a trainer nooooww! Darn his inabality to control his excitement! Tropius now had a Beldum riding on its back, the Tropius being somewhat weighed down. Beldum was pretty heavy and Dante couldn't say no to that with straight face, but Tropius was small. Lord forbid it! How could he let Tropius hold all of the weight herself?! Dante slowed down, letting Tropius catch up so he could carry Beldum himself, which was no easy task to complete. At first, Tropius was a littl hesitant in stopping, wanting to keep its body warm, but let Dante take the heavy steel-solid Pokemon.
"Dang, Beldum! You weigh a ton!" Beldum cuddled up to Dante, the Trainer unable to resist the cuteness of the poor Pokemon. Tropius stayed beside Dante for the most part until they found a spot of earth that was uncovered. Oh how joyous! The three sat in that spot, Dante collecting the few dry branches he could find. Dante took a few uncovered rocks and built them into a pit shaped circle, adding the wood and lighting the fire with pack of matches. Warmth at last! The adventurers sighed loudly as they sat around the fire, letting the warmth get as close the them as possible.
"Man, am I glad we found this spot. I would've froze to death on the side of the road. Trainercicle!" With the fire, a spot of smoke rose into the air in a circle puff, soon fading away into the sky.

A Pokemon was following the faint red glow. That could be a fire. And fires meant hot. The Chingling floated over, shivering with delight at the puffs of smoke wafting up. They were nice and warm. It emerged from between the trees. There was a human, but it supposed it couldn't have the fire all to itself. It floated over and asked the Tropius if it could share some of the warmth.Wild Chingling appeared!
Will you let it share the little warmth?

While resting his body to the warmth, Dante could hear a soft jingle that reminded him of something awfully familar, much like a Chimecho. As he looked up, he saw that it was none other than the common Chingling. He remembered it well, seeing as how his friend used to have one before he left. It was so fun to watch the little guy bounce up and down, jingling as it went along its merry way. Oh how fun those days were when he was young! He watched it fall near his Tropius, speaking in that Pokemon language of theirs. He then suddenly wondered if scientests could invent a way to listen to Pokemon and hear their words as human speech and viceversa.
"Why, yes... It shouldn't be much trouble to Dante at all, I don't think?" Topius glared at Dante, who in response rubbed the back of his head softly and laughed. Tropius stayed silent for awhile before answering. "I guess that's a yes... You don't know what's what with Dante. He's a weird one alright." Dante stopped chuckling and set up, smiling at the Chingling, hoping that it woul stay to keep warm. If he was right, berries could be found in bushes nearby. It would be a small, but filling meal for the Pokemon, not to mention healty and nutritious. As long as the Pokemon were happy, that's all that mattered.
This moment brought back memories of his first journey around the Sinnoh Region. IT was when him and his three first Pokemon, Turtwig, Starly and Shinx, were stuck in the rain all night. They had been training the entire day and hurt everywhere, Dante hurting because of taking practice laps around the beginning route with the three. Dante found berries and fed each Pokemon before helping himself, but the three Pokemon whined about still being hungry, so Dante split the last berry for the three and let his tummy empty all for his Pokemon. So many great moments in his Trainer life... they could never be replaced, for they were imprinted into his mind.

Chingling giggled, settling down into the spot between Dante and Tropius. It looked very comfortable in the warm glow of the fire, then its brow furrowed in concentration for some unknown reason. Then four berries, flying but wobbling, came into view. They slowly made their way to the group, one plopping in front of each person or Pokemon. Oh yes- Chingling was a Psychic type. It laughed like a bell, dancing happily and making a lot of noise before munching the berry.
Suddenly a feirce roar was heard, scattering birds and other wild Pokemon. The bushes nearby rustled, and a Nuzleaf leapt onto the scene, snarling. It grabbed the Chingling, who struggled, screamed and wailed, bells making a strange, warning tone to warn other Pokemon away. The Nuzleaf snarled again, walking slowly out with the Chingling in hand. It was still in sight, you could catch up if you wanted. Who knows what it would do to the Chingling?
Wild Nuzleaf stole Chingling!

Almost as suddenly as Chingling had arrived, something leaped out from nowhere and stole the small, bell-like Pokemon. From where Dante could see, it was none other than a Nuzleaf; the rotten buggers. What did it want with the poor Chingling? It didn't do anything to put this on itself... did it? Dante took this opportunity to get up and find the direction Nuzleaf was going if it just so happened to dissapear. The two Pokemon quickly got up from their positions and charged Nuzleaf as Dante did.
This was also a rare opportunity because Dante may be able to catch both Chingling and Nuzleaf.

Nuzleaf panted as it ran to escape the view of the trainer. What a Nuzleaf would do with a Chingling was a mystery. ~Dang, Chingling, you way a freakin' ton!~ it said in a gruff, not very well spoken voice as it saw the shapes of the trainer and Pokemon getting larger.
Snarling, it leapt into the path before the trainer. It had Chingling fair and square, there was no way it would loose it now. Stupid human. How did he think he could defeat a big strong Nuzleaf like itself? Well, it would soon show him. The Nuzleaf stood over Chingling defensively, growling at Dante. Looks like it would be a fight unless you wanted Chingling to be victimised and exposed to Arceus-knows-what.

Wow. The Nuzleaf was pretty fast, even though it was holding the weighted Pokemon. He felt its grief of heavy carrying, knowing how much Beldum weighed. Dante was surprised when the Nuzleaf stopped in the middle of the path, probably wanting to stop him. To most younger trainers, this also meant to stop and wait, but to Dante, however, this meant 'Time to Battle'. As the three approached the Nuzleaf, Dante flicked a hand towards the Poke' Thief and yelled, "Tropius! Gust!"
Tropius stopped and jerked its leafy apendages back, getting ready for the thrust. It lunged forward, its leaves flapping inward and creating a great gust. Lets see how the Nuzleaf likes his Tropius!

Nuzleaf did not seem to like his Tropius at all. At the harsh winds blew, spewing up bits of ice, the Grass type faced one of his weaknesses; Flying types. Nuzleaf glowered at Tropius as the winds whipped at his body, laughing cruelly in its ears, knocking it to the ground with the force of the gale. Nuzleaf was relieved when it was finally over.
Standing back up, Nuzleaf was angry. It thought that if the senario had been the other way around, the little jerk of a Tropius would be lying fainted on the snowy ground. Tropius was a Grass type too; it was unfair it should know an attack that was strong against itself. How stupid Nuzleaf was to think that. It darted forward with a hollering battle cry, with intentions to Pound on Tropius with its leaf.

As Tropius grunted from the attack, Dante took the time to have Beldum finish up if possible. "Beldum, lets do it! Takedown!" Dante was prety confident in Beldum, even though it only knew one move at the time. If this hit, the Nuzleaf may give up the Chingling and he could have yet another teammate!
Beldum leaped forward (somehow) and attempted to tackle the Nuzleaf.
(No muze...)

ooc// Me too.
Nuzleaf looked to the two Pokemon. Wait, wasn't he battling the Tropius? Maybe the trainer had done one of those 'switching out' thingys. Stupid trainer. He'll sh-
The next thing Nuzleaf knew, he'd been flung through the air by the impact of the weighty Beldum. He shook his head, but stood up, perfectly fine. After all, just two attacks wouldn't pull anything down, except with a huge level difference. Nuzleaf shook his branches and a storm of sharp-edged leaves flew through the air toward Beldum- Razor Leaf.

Beldum was pushed back by the razor leaves, but was left with nothing but a scratch. Beldum was made of steel, so a few sharp leaves wouldn't do much. Dante nodded and pointed towards the Nuzleaf and smiled. "Beldum! Takedown!"
Ooc: I... can't rp very well at the moment. I just needed to get that out.

Nuzleaf was again pushed backward, but held his ground, leaving trails in the dirt where his feet slid back. ~Nyeh!~ he grunted as he leapt forward again, preparing for a Pound attack.

Beldum was hit! The pounding blow pushed Beldum into a tree, knocking it out. Dante nodded once more and pointed at Nuzleaf as he began, "Tropius! Gust!" Tropius leaned back and used the leaves on its body to create a great gale to whittle away at the Nuzleaf. It was only in due time until that Nuzleaf would give up that Chingling.

Gust- not very effective against a fellow Grass type, but Nuzleaf was weak, so maybe it would work. A little confused as the Pokemon switched yet again, Nuzleaf was proud of it's sinlgle victory. Chingling began to drift soundlessly away, but Nuzleaf snarled and snatched it back, pinning it to the ground and smarting it around the face, making it burst into tears. Nuzleaf was paying no attension to the fight, but winced as the Gust blew around, barely looking as it fired another array of Razor Leaf.

A grass-type move didn't much affect a grass-type like itself, and after seeing the Nuzleaf smack the Chingling, Dante wouldn't let the Nuzleaf go away. "Tropius! Leer and follow with a Gust! Don't let it get away!"
