Well, I shall be creating a training post here shortly x3 Will be edited as I go... hopefully to be finished before long =) I'm aiming to gain at least 7 levels with Mo, so he can evolve and learn some awesome new moves and not know just Teleport The rest are just along to train a bit as well.
PART I - EA
PART II - GETH
PART III - MO
A small woods area came into view of Ea, Mo, Geth, and Ironhide. +I really hate to quote things, but... this looks like it really is off the beaten path,+
PART I - EA
Stats Before
Name
Ea
Species
Cyndaquil
Gender
Female
Level
6
Attacks
Tackle, Leer, Smokescreen, Quick Attack
Personality
Ea is sort of shy and reserved. She doesn't like Pokemon battling, but loves to train. When an arguement arises, she usually tries to stay out of it. However, if she must get in an argument, she always wins. If a battle is inevitable, she will fight, or if she just wants to for a change of things. Ea is not fond of hurting other Pokemon, and would rather be friends than enemies.
Other
Traded Skeet the Scyther for her at the Quick-Trades. Skeet was caught on route one.
+I Speak In This Color+
"Alright Ea, you will be up first. What do you think you need to work on?" Ironhide asked. Ea thought for a while. She wondered why she was first, but then got to thinking, so as not to make an awkwardly long silence. Her speed was pretty good, her attack was decent, her balance was good as well... her defence, though... that definitely needed some work. +My defence?+ she suggested, unsure of whether there was a right or wrong answer. "Good idea, Ea. Alright, you three, let's go," Ironhide said, heading into a thick-looking part of the woods. +Go? Go where exactly? There's probably nothing in there but thick trees, bushes, and booby traps,+ Geth complained as he hopped off the log and trailed behind Ironhide, Mo hovering beside him. +Booby traps are no longer used in present-day civilized places, Geth,+ Mo said. +Well, this ain't exactly civilized, now is it?+ Geth asked, making a point. +No, it's not civilized, but it's organized, meaning someone has been around here. I mean, look around; the trees aren't wildly huge, there aren't over-grown bushes, and not many fallen branches litter the floor of the woods,+ Ea pointed out. Geth grumbled something about girls and arguing and didn't make another comment until they came upon the first... something or other.
"This one, I call Strike. Simply because of what he can do. He is one of my many contraptions I've made. Before I started my life as a Trainer, I came here and built a few things so I could train my Pokemon accordingly. And now, they actually get to be used. Ea looked at the thing before them; it looked a machine that launched things, and by the huge metal sheet ten yards in front of it, along with many indentations in it, she assumed that's what it was. +How does it work?+ Ea asked, eyeing some metallic-looking balls scattered about the ground. "When I start it up, depending on what level or speed I put it on, it will launch this balls towards the metal sheet. The higher the speed, the smaller the balls. The lower the speed, the bigger the balls," Ironhide explained. Geth bust out into laughter at the mention of 'the bigger the balls'. +Pull yourself together, Geth,+ Mo said, rolling his eyes, but couldn't help from laughing when he heard Geth's unusual laugh. "Alright, you two, knock it off," Irohide said with a smile, not able to help herself from chuckling at Geth's weird laugh.
Ea inspected the metallic-like balls that were scattered about, ignoring the two rowdy males and their perverted minds. She discovered that each were hollow, and as they looked, the bigger ones were heavier and the smaller ones lighter. Ea put two and two together... she would be hit with these things! The very thought made her sink to the ground, all legs sprawled out... she knew she was going to regret this... but, it would help her defence out though, wouldn't it? And she would grow even stronger... and maybe even evolve into a Quilava! That got her going, and she got up and scurried to the metal sheet, standing firmly in place while she waited for Mo and Geth to stop laughing and Darvy to notice she was ready.
Ironhide turned around to see Ea ready. She sighed and smiled as she turned to the machine, leaving Geth and Mo to laugh until their sides hurt. "I'll start off slow; the bigger ones will be coming at you, Ea," she said, as she pressed a button and the machine whirred to life. A few loud clanks and clunks were heard before the first large, metallic-like ball was flung at Ea. She quickly closed her eyes and embraced herself for the impact, which she thought would be extremely painful, but all she felt was something like a rubber ball being thrown at her. Ea oepned her eyes to see a few more flung at her, bouncing off of her and leaving not so much as a little red mark. This made her confident, and she stood tall on all fours, embracing the balls that were flung at her, each one impacting with a small thwack. This isn't as bad as I thought it would be... Ea thought to herself.
"Alright, I'm moving it up a level," Ironhide said, switching it up a notch. Now, the metallic balls felt a little smaller, and hit with a greater force, now feeling as though it was a small, piercing cold wind pricking her. This wasn't so bad, either, Ea decided.
Ea didn't know how long she was going at the machine, but it seemed like hours later for some reason. With the metallic balls getting smaller and smaller, and hitting her at faster and faster speeds, she wasn't sure how much more she could take when it suddenly... ended. "Wow! Well done, Ea! You made it through that whole machine! Your defense is much better than I thought!" Ironhide said happily. Ea managed a small smile before collapsing, exhausted, to the ground. Mo and Geth exchanged glances; Mo teleported while Geth made his way slowly over, Ironhide in front of him. She cradled the exhausted Cyndaquil in her arms and carried her back to the machine, switching it off. +That wasn't... so... bad...+ Ea said, panting in between words. "You're a whole lot tougher than I thought you would be, and that's good. Now I know not to underestimate any of you," Ironhide said proudly. "Do you feel like staying out and walking to the others, or do you want to rest?" Ironhide asked. +Rest would be nice,+ Ea said. "Well, you certainly deserve it. Take a nice, long rest," Ironhide said, taking Ea's Pokeball and returning her to it. She turned to Geth and Mo. "Who's next?"

PART II - GETH
Stats Before
Name
Geth
Species
Shiny Bagon
Gender
Male
Attacks
Rage, Bite
Personality
This Bagon thinks highly of himself, but not much of others. He doesn't like following orders and only does things his way. Geth hates the way he acts, but can't help it. He doesn't think before he speaks, and would rather not apologize for the things he says.
Other
If anyone finds out about his 'act' problem, then he'll definitely deny it. He tries to act as tough as possible.
+I Speak In This Color+
Ironhide, Geth, and Mo made their way to the next training area, after discussing what Geth needed to work on. It didn't take long, and it was quite obvious what he needed to work on; speed.
"Alright, Geth. This machine I call Speedy, for a good reason. She can fire objects faster than they were fired at Ea earlier. Except here, the only thing that increases is speed. The objects being thrown are rocks a little larger than your eye, Geth. With your defense pretty high, it shouldn't hurt you much, if at all. If all else fails, use your head for protection. Now, your goal is to dodge as much as you can. You want to completely get started, or do a test run first?" Ironhide said. +Let's get this party started!+ Geth said enthusiastically, confident he could impress Ironhide as much as Ea had impressed her.
Ironhide flipped a switch, and the machine whirred to life. A few stones from different angles at the front of the machine were hurled at him, quite slowly, and he side-stepped and ducked to avoid them, quite easelessly. +Aww, come on, don't you have something better than that?+ Geth called out, rolling his eyes. "Alright, I'll up it a few notches, then," Ironhide said with a small giggle after she had said it. She pulled a different lever, the levels marked by color. A few in green, a few in yellow, a few in orange, and, of course, the last few in red. She upped it to the first level in yellow. She watched as Geth jumped, rolled, and ducked to get out of the way. Well, now he was looking pretty fast, but this was one of the easier levels, too, so... she held her breath as she upped it another notch, and then another. She watched as Geth struggled to dodge the flying rocks halfway through the yellow level. She hoped he made it at least halfway through orange; that would be his goal.
Geth finally got hit; directly between his eyes. It hadn't hurt, really, but it stunned him, causing him to be hit a few more times before coming to hise senses. He realized he would soon be unable to dodge much of anything, but he still made an attempt. On the beginning of the orange level, he was getting hit every other few shots or so. "Come on, Geth! You're going to embarrass yourself!" Ironhide called out, hoping to get him to do better. Geth glared at Ironhide through the many jumps, twists, turns, rolls, ducks, and many other moves that he attempted to dodge the rocks. Well, maybe he was a failure at this particular thing... maybe he should just give up before he embarrassed himself even further. +Well, a little embarrassment is better than a lot of it at least,+ Geth called back, a few beads of sweat appearing on his brow. Ironhide sighed, not knowing what would encourage Geth. +Geth, come on! Even your mother could've been faster than you!+ Mo called out. Geth narrowed his eyes; nobody made jokes about his parents.
Ironhide was quite surprised when she got to the first level of red, and he was doing better than he had on the first level of orange. He seemed to be going faster now, concentrating harder. She didn't dare speak as she upped it a notch on a timely interval. On the second to last level on red, Geth gave up; he collapsed to the ground, panting, quickly curling up so that only his head would take impact from the rocks. He could barely feel a thing as the rocks made contact with his head, and he took the time to take a breather. Shortly afterward, the machine came to a halt, the only noise the wind blowing through the trees, reminding Geth of how deserted this place was. "You were amazing Geth! You did a whole lot better than I expected! I should get Mo to insult you more so you can do better," Ironhide said nearby. Geth opened his eyes to see Ironhide standing over him and Mo hovering behind her. +Insult? Hardly the word for it,+ Geth grumbled as he got to his feet. +Well, you sure would've beat me at that,+ Mo said encouragingly. +Surely not, Mo. I mean, I'm as slow as slow can get... well, excluding Slowpoke and Slakoth, that is,+ Geth said. "Point well made, but you sure are moving up, Geth. You made a huge improvement today! You can return to your Pokeball if you wish, or you can watch what I have planned for Mo," Ironhide said. +What? I don't get to choose?+ Mo asked in disappointment. "You wouldn't have much choice, Mo. Trust me though; it'll be good, and maybe you'll even evolve after it, or maybe after a couple battles following this training," Ironhide said. +Well, alright...+ Mo said, hanging his head and feeling embarrassed that he didn't even know a physical move.

PART III - MO
Stats Before
Name
Mowanzanhanel (Mo for short)
Gender
Male
Level

Attacks
Teleport and Barrier.
Personality
Mo usually prefers to stick to himself. As an Abra, he knows he is weak and prefers not to get into too big of fights; however, he does like to anger Pokemon every now and then. Using Teleport, he can avoid many attacks. Along with that, he can also be really good at Hide-And-Go-Seek, which is his favorite game even though he is a bit old for it. He dreams of becoming an Alakazam one day and being all-powerful.
Other
Mo was transferred from the original Sinjoenn region; it was a hard choice for me to make, but I finally decided on him =)
+I Speak In This Color+
+Well, what exactly do you have in mind for me?+ Mo asked uneasily as he sat with his short legs apart in the air, hovering behind Ironhide. "Well, since you'll likely be an Abra for a while, I've got some double-training for you. Something to help you with Barrier and Teleport," Ironhide said. +Heheheh, this ought to be good,+ Geth said as he chuckled. Mo ignored him and proceeded to perch on Ironhide's shoulder. "Geth, I'd love to see you fight with only two non-physical moves for a few battles," Ironhide said to Geth. +Well, I have more than two moves, and I don't have any that are non-physical, so I can't. Sorry to disappoint,+ Geth said smugly. "That wasn't the point, Geth. Get it through that thick skull of yours, will ya?" Ironhide said, rolling her eyes. Geth imitated her behind her back as he followed behind her, thinking about grumbling about meaningless stuff but deciding against it.
+You think Ea is rested enough? It feels... weird... without her out, since, you know, I've gotten used to her being out,+ Mo said, trying to hide his blush by turning away. Ironhide got the point; Mo liked Ea. "Oh, I'm sure she's rested up and wouldn't mind watching you," Ironhide said cheerfully, completely hiding that she had noticed Mo's feelings for Ea. She tossed Ea's Pokeball in the air, and Ea materialized before the three. +Boy, that was a good rest! Are we done?+ Ea said, looking happily up at Ironhide. "No, not quite done. Mo still has his training to go through. I thought you might want to watch before we head back on our way," Ironhide said. +Oh, I'd love to watch! I'm sure Geth's training went well,+ Ea said respectfully towards Geth, nodding at him to acknowledge him. Ironhide glanced at Mo, who was apparently too embarrassed to look over as he looked at what he was to do.
"Alright, Mo. You are to dodge as many of the moving objects that swing towards you as possible," Ironhide said. +With what, my speed, or teleport? Because, that seems pretty... easy... to me,+ Mo said uncertainly. "There are a couple of catches, Mo. One, you will be blindfolded, and two you will use Teleport. Things will be coming at you from all directions, but try to stay in the area designated for your training. If you think something is coming to fast, or you won't be able to teleport out of the fast enough, use Barrier. That is where both of your moves get their work. If you know you absolutely cannot dodge something, Barrier is the key to your... help, I guess," Ironhide said as she scratched her head not sure if 'help' was the right word to be used. +You can do it, Mo! I have confidence in you,+ Ea squealed from behind the designated training area lines as Ironhide tied a blindfold around Mo, who was quite jittery and nervous. +And this will help me... how, exactly?+ Mo asked. "You might be temporarily blinded in the heat of battle, and you need to rather use your senses than sight if you wish to stand a chance. Mud-slap or Sand-attack, for example. If they hit you, you're... toast, unless you know what to do blinded," Ironhide said. +Oh.. well, bring it on, then!+ Mo said, trying to get himself pumped up, though he felt quite nervous. What if he didn't please Ironhide like Ea and Geth had? What if he was a failure? "Get ready, Mo! They'll be coming at you from every direction! Use your senses, not your sight!" Ironhide called from the sidelines, as Mo heard something roar to life.
It was as if everything happened at once. First second, Mo was hovering there, trying to blot out the machine's roar and single out the other things, and the next he was flying through the air, being hit by an unknown, but hard, object. Mo quickly used Teleport to avoid hitting anything that he might make contact with. As soon as he had Teleported, however, he was hit by a similar object again. That made him quite frustrated as he quickly used Teleport again, this time using Barrier just as he heard something run into it, shielding him from being hit again. "Great, Mo! You're a fast learner, keep it up!" Ironhide called from the sidelines, watching the metal poles and small, skinny logs fly through the air in every which way.
Mo finally singled out the sounds of the objects moving through the air; there were two different objects. One sounded metallic-like, and the other sounded more... well, heavy, solid, and natural. He assumed metal rods and something like wood or the likes. Mo began dodging them with ease after a few minutes, using Barrier every now and then with too-close-for-comfort encounters. "Alright, they'll be moving a little bit faster now, Mo. Keep your senses alert!" Ironhide called out, upping it to the second level. Two more levels to go, she thought as she looked at the green, yellow, orange, and red spots on the machine that designated levels like on her others. Mo looked a little more alert now, and was having more too-close-for-comfort encounters, but still managing. He hadn't been hit a single time yet. +Keep it up, Mo! You're doing great!+ Ea said with enthusiasm from the sidelines. That distracted Mo for a moment, enough to be pummeled by both a log and rod at the same time, being thrown to the ground. In a daze, he stared at the whiteness before his eyes, wondering if he was blind, then remembered he was blindfolded. In the distance he could hear Geth howling with laughter, Ea gasping, and Ironhide shutting down the machine. +I'm fine! Turn it back on!+ Mo said as he forced himself back up, a definite bruise on the side of the lower half of his body. "You sure?" Ironhide asked nearby. +Yes, I'm sure. I need to complete my training,+ Mo said. "Well, alright..." Ironhide said. She knew that the impact from both of the objects must have been really painful, but obviously he wasn't giving in. Not yet, at least.
The machine whirred back to life, at the same speed at which it had been shut off at; yellow. Mo began dodging with hesitance at first, unsure since it had been quiet for a while, but getting back into the groove. His side really hurt, but he didn't really care. He wanted to get this over with, and as quick as possible. All he really wanted to do was impress Ea... he did, in fact, like her. What was there not to like? She always won the arguments if she stepped in, and knew how to settle them if she wasn't involved. There was something about her that was just... very attractive. On top of that, she always seemed to have a gleam about her; part of it her beauty, and the rest from just her overall happiness and positive attitude that she carried. He was finding the Teleporting thing much easier when he thought about Ea. He hoped he wouldn't get too distracted, though, and disappear off of the map or something of the sort. He concentrated on the moving objects more now, focusing his energy and everything else on dodging the flying objects.
A speed change, Mo noted. Things were coming faster, and a few times already he had been grazed by something. He almost just felt like taking the blindfold off, since he had his eyes closed anyways, but it might look like he was cheating, and Ea wouldn't like that, he assumed. So, despite the sweat building as the sun beat down on him, melting the remaining snow from a few days ago, he slipped it back into its place before it fell off. As he was doing so, one of the logs caught a weak spot on his arm and he was thrown very off-balance, thus almost colliding with a rod, as he had when Ea had spoken earlier. He was smart enough, though, to use Barrier, and continue his training. He could feel his arm was quite weak now, and he tried not to clutch it as the speed increased again. "Almost through, Mo! You can do it!" Ironhide called, not noticing that he had been hit by a log. Mo strained to finish, not noticing the trickle of blood steadily running down the back of his arm.
Somehow, someway, the objects were moving a whole lot faster, again. Mo struggled to keep up, but did not give in. "You can stop anytime you like by Teleporting outside of the designated area, Mo!" Ironhide called above the roar of the machine. Mo heard, but didn't acknowledge what she had said. He wanted to finish it completely, with a strong finish, no matter how weak he was. A saying came to mind... 'It's not how you start. It's how you finish'. Mo then realized he would, in fact, finish, if it was the last thing he did. He was no quitter, no matter how hard anything was. He had never been a quitter before, and he wouldn't be one now. Using a couple of Barriers at the same time to dodge a few coming towards him at once, he Teleported into the path of another. By now, he had gotten into the knowing that they could be anywhere at any time. As far as he knew, he was extremely slow. In the eyes of the other three, however, they could barely keep up with his movements. Mo got a little overconfident when he sensed that it was about time to finish, and made a drastic mistake. While Teleporting, he used Barrier and simply Teleported to the other side of his Barrier he had made, thinking the log or rod had made contact already with a few other smashes he heard nearby from other Barriers. Next thing he knew, he was on the ground with a very sore back and a throbbing headache.
When Ironhide saw Mo Teleport before the rod had even made contact with his Barrier, and Mo get right in the path of it, she wanted to yell something, but she knew he wouldn't have enough time at the speed the rod had been travelling. She watched with great pain as her Abra was hit dead-on with the rod, in the back, thrown head-first into his own Barrier and fell to the ground, unmoving. She quickly shut off the machine and rushed over to him. She took his blindfold off and saw his eyes were closed, and his breathing was definitely that of a pain-induced Pokemon. "Geth, get me a Potion from my pack," Ironhide called to Geth. Hesitantly, Geth obeyed and, not with much effort, ran over to Ironhide, who sprayed the potion on the most injured parts of Mo. Mo opened both eyes after a while. +I got over-confident and didn't pay attention to the noise closest to me,+ Mo said, sighing. "Well, that sure is a way to use your head," Ironhide said in good humor. She noticed a bit of red on Mo's right arm and turned it over to see a huge splinter sticking out of it. "Mo, when did that happen?" she asked. +Oh, I forgot about that... happened on the second speed, I think,+ Mo said, shrugging with a bit of embarrassment.
After applying a bandage around Mo's arm and using what was left of the potion, he was good to go. +You forgot you had that huge piece of wood stuck in your arm?+ Ea asked in amazement. +Yeah... I guess so. It's nothing though, really,+ Mo said, shrugging. He winced slightly at the pain, but it was unnoticeable by the other three. "Well, that completes your training, Mo. I'm hoping within a few more battles you'll be able to evolve, so you can learn Confusion," Ironhide said.=purple]+Oh, I'm certain it'll be soon. I can feel it,+ Mo said truthfully. He had felt himself get stronger; i]much stronger, after he had finished training. He was on the verge of evolution; the question was, though... when? When would he evolve into a Kadabra? One battle, two battles, or even more? It was very uncertain at the time. "Well, let's get back on the road. We can train some other time if we must," Ironhide said as she stood up. Geth was glad, and quickly headed back the way they had come. Mo hovered beside Ea, and the two were having a quiet conversation. Ironhide smiled; the same old stuff, she knew.
