'Tis the lovely Rose come to join your even lovelier site! I warn you, I can be extremely hyper at times. Sugar highs are very very VERY frequent. I'm also an anime and manga nerd. DNAngel, D.Gray-Man, InuYasha, Naruto, you name it. I am obsessed with the wonderful Japanese theme songs, and I have a very strong tendency to commit them to memory and then sing along whenever possible. If I break out into song spontaneously, and the words aren't English, then you can be assured that I've found a new anime and am being very enthusiastic about it. It's probably not a likely situation, but if anyone here mentions yaoi or yuri with nothing but positive comments in mind, I will then proceed to shun them and be as snarky and sarcastic as possible, because both yaoi and yuri are made of fail.On to a more positive note~! I will occasionally start random threads just to post images I think everyone else should see. They will almost always be humorous. If not, then I'm likely asking you to help me flame the maker due to it being obscenely offensive. Like this one: prince-musafa.deviantart.com/art/Islam-over-Christianity-77489749DD< Comment on it if you so wish, but I would also of course like some hellos and such. : DD

Welcome to Sinjoenn, Rose! I am glad you decided to join our site =3
Don't worry about that; you'll fit in perfectly with the rest of us here
If I had cable or actually took the time to watch Anime online (Besides Pokemon xP), I would likely be an Anime fanatic as well, but I'm lazy like that, so... yeah
Whatever you do, don't get in a conversation with my friend about yaoi/yuri xD I don't like it much, if at all, but my friend is obsessed with roleplaying it and drawing it and roleplaying it more and talking about it and roleplayiing it more c: The only thing that will get her to shut up is if we do our 'Yuri Hug' each day xD (Like the Japanese Anime girls do in High School, where they hug each other with one leg lifted up, lol) Other than that, I try to stay off of that topic. I really agree, though... most everyone at my school says Yaoi/Yuri = life/love, and I'm like 'Uh.... yeah, sure.... whatever... -cough-YURI/YAOI=GAY-cough...' (And, not gay as in sexuality, but as in retarded gay T_T)
Hehe...
I love random threads c: ... That image is... extremely... -countsto10ahundredtimes- ... Dude, if anyone that went to Church saw that, they would take it as /extremely/ offensive T_T I don't go to Church as much as I should, but I try to be a Christian nonetheless, and... That image is just... not right. I would flame, but I wouldn't know what to post xD
Oh, random fact about me... I tend to ramble somtimes, so if I talk a lot about one thing and it seems pointless, just skip over it and ignore it xD

Hallo Rose =3 I love anime, too, yay. I enjoy *some* yaoi/yuri too(sorry u_u), but since you don't like it, I can can it, no problem, it's not my life in any way, shape or form. ^-^ Inuyasha I've watched, a looong time ago when I was a little kiddie. Let me see, I'll bounce some titles off of you. Have you seen/read Darker Than Black, Ouran Host Club, Prince of Tennis, Baccano, +Anima, Death Note, Black Cat, Vampire Knight, or Gakuen Alice? =D As for that picture, I go" " and move away. I guess I'm supposed to be Christian even though I never go to Church and soforth. Still though, it's sad/pathetic that people can't show respect ): At the same time, I feel like whoever that person on DA is just asking for attention. =P

Mkays, here goes - Darker Than Black - Watch the anime, don't read the manga, since it's one of the few where the anime came first. The first few episodes are kind of confusing, but after that it's SO EPIC. The plotline is kind of complicated, but it's set in Japan after this force has entered the world creating these mysterious Gates. Because of the Gates, certian people have become Contractors, meaning that they have a certian power they can use (ex: transport matter, fly, etc) but in return they must do something (ex: dogearing all of the pages of a book, snapping fingers, lining stones up on ground, etc). It's got a lot of action but there's humor too, yay. This series isn't afraid of killing side characters to keep the realism, though, so don't get too attached to anyone I seriously reccomend this series. I love it. <3 There's one OVA. Ouran Host Club - Since you want to see it I guess you already know about it. It's about a girl, Haruhi, a commoner who got a scholarship to a school for the elite rich people. She ends up breaking an expensive vase of the Host Club at the school, so she is forced to pretend she is a boy and do host club duties XD The characters are all really funny(seriously, you will be on the floor laughing), and the series is romance/comedy. The Host Club end up going on lots of pointless random adventures, like going to simulated vacation islands and taking a trip to Haruhi's house. The anime is more comedy and the manga is comedy in the beginning, romance as the series goes on. I really love this series as well, but I've gotta warn you there are twins who do this twincest thing for fun. It's kind of weird at first but eventually you get used to it. Prince of Tennis - Again, this is an anime over manga series. It's like 2394304983204 bajillion episodes, so watchout O: The main character is Echizen Ryoma, who is a brilliant tennis player(and kind of arrogant), accepted into a team of all older kids. The series is both action, comedy, and then every now and then there are the pointless fun chibi episodes n_n The action focuses on the tennis games (all the people on the team have insane tennis moves) and then there are sometimes random comedy episodes. Yay~ Baccano! - The plot is SUPER COMPLICATED--however, the makers of this anime somehow managed to tie all the characters together in some way @_@ It's set in the 1930s, but it skips time periods almost constantly. The first episode is super-confusing, but it's basically the last episode, showing what happens after everything else. There are around 3 main plots I think, but the biggest one involves this train called The Flying *****foot(Proboards censored it >.<), which is transcontinental. Lots of rich people are on the train, but there also a bunch of crazy 'white-suits' who are fighting the 'black-suits' to gain control of the train. There are insane bloodthirsty characters, cowardly characters, tough lady characters, and comic relief people. XD Also another main part of Baccano!'s story line are all the mafias trying to gain control of each other. *nodnod* Wow, I'm bad at describing these things. XD; I'll explain more later. Oh, and I don't know how you are with violence, but Darker Than Black, Baccano!, Vampire Knight, and I'm pretty sure Black Cat have a fair amount of violence/blood in them. Nothing like Elfen Lied, though. Oh yeah, also have you seen Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles? =3

Darker Than Black: Sweeeet.
Ouran Host Club: Yeah, I know most of the stuff about it.
...I'm not even going to ask about the 'twincest'...
Prince of Tennis: Chuh-chuh-chuh-chibi episodes?! 8DDD
DO WANT.
Baccano!: ...um. I dun really think I'd really want to watch that one. I'm not really into the super-random animes. O:
Nah, I'm good with violence. Dunno about my parents, though. >_>; No, I don't think I've heard of that one. I've heard of something just called "Tsubasa" that I heard was some kind of complicated remake of Cardcaptor Sakura. I've seen a few episodes.

For Baccano!, at first it seems like lots of things are random, but in the end everything ties together. O: You kind of have to bear with it. And yeah, that's what I'm talking about when I mean 'Tsubasa' - the full name is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. It's basically all of CLAMP's manga/animes in one big show. X3 Anyway, continuing a little with the anime-fest.
+Anima: This one's only a manga, not an anime. The art/outfits are really nice ^-^ Anyway, it's set in a world where there are people called +Animas who have certain markings that kind of look like tattoos. When 'activating' their +anima these people retain animal-like qualities, such as wings if a bird, taloned feet if the +anima is that of a hawk, or mermaid-like characteristics if the +anima is that of a fish. In this world, +Animas(the term for people with these abilities) are generally feared and abused. The story focuses on four +anima children who roam around the country together, meeting people and learning about the situtation in the country, as well as visiting places that had special significance in their pasts. It's a very cute and heartwarming series =D
Gakuen Alice: This is set in modern times- the plot is focused on certian people called 'Alices' who have specific powers(like ability to control fire, ability to run super fast, ability to control people's pheremones to make them fall in love with you, etc). The main character's best friend is called away to this super-elite school because she is found out to be an Alice, and the main character is heartbroken and runs off to join her. (heh, typical). The main character finally manages to locate the Alice Academy (the elite school) and tries to get in so she can be with her friend. The first book/few episodes are focused on the test the teachers give her to see if she is elegible for the school, and to see if she herself has an Alice or not. The characters are similar to those from Fruits Basket, if you've ever seen/read that.

+Anima: OMGWIN -is totally going to read-
Gakuen Alice: Ooooh.
Yes, I've read Fruits Basket all the way to the end, and if the characters are like that, that's all the reason I need to go read Gakuen Alice and maybe watch it eventually.

Tsubasa is awesome. o.o If I know what you're talking about. Which I think I do. Yeah, genre-wise it's, like, a big mix.
Elfen Lied is... VIOLENT 8DDD
And, um, so is Hirugashi. It's pretty good. Can't remember full name.
WATCH BLEACH BLEACH BLEACH BLEACH BLEEEEEACH!
It's like Naruto, only. Not at all. Much better. Not as stupid. Well, I think Naruto is kind of stupid, but so is Bleach in a very silly way. But that's just me, I mean some people like Naruto, and some people like Bleach.
'I know how you must feel after seeing your friends being eaten.'
Ahahahah that makes no sense out of context but XD anyway.
EPISODE 80. U is must watch. Funny.
Though, uh, watch ep. 1 first for an introduction to what on earth is going on. Seriously, my friend convinced me starting at episode 81 was a good idea. And it wasn't.
'What's he doing?' 'What's with that sword?' 'Uh, why does that dude have a hole through his abdomen and half a skull on his face?'
E.C.T. XD
Um, though. I know you from Tynri. Uh, probably.
