Ironhide hugged herself tight, glad that she didn't have Mo out. She was shivering uncontrolably. All she had on was a hoodie that was only slightly warmer, jeans, and regular shoes. Not the type of clothing that was fit for the current weather; snow. What really didn't help is it was quite windy out as well.
Glancing up at the sky, all Ironhide could see was white and grey. She pulled the strings on her hoodie tighter, though it didn't help at all. She noticed large buildings around her and it was then that she realised she was near the Lab. Well, if she didn't freeze to death before she reached the Lab, she would find a Pokemon that could either provide warmth or was resistant to cold as a starter. Her original idea for a starter would be put off most likely, unless some miracle happened and it stopped snowing all of a sudden.
Ironhide had set off with her hoodie around her waist and gloves off. When she got closer to the lab though it had begun to snow, then get really windy. It had been nice where she had come from, but now she regretted not bringing a decent coat.
Ironhide looked up from her feet to see two snow-covered trees on either side of a thick glass entrance door that was covered with shades. She quickly went up the few steps and rapped on the door, surprised at how solid it sounded. She hoped that it wasn't closed for some reason today. Without warning, the single Pokeball at her waist opened and Mo materialised beside her. +Brr! It's freezing! Why did you have to set out today, Iron?+
Mo said, teleporting to inside her hoodie where it was nice and warm. "Because it was supposed to be nice today... though I guess the weather forecast wasn't for here. Quite complaining, though; we could be stranded in the middle of nowhere. If I would've left any later I would've gotten lost," Ironhide mumbled as she hopped from foot to foot to keep a little bit warmer than she would if she just stood there.

The door before them opened, blasting glorious warm air outside. Professor Hide looked at Ironhide. "Goodness, you must be freezing! Come inside, I have cocoa!" she smiled, leading the twosome in. At first she had though Ironhide was coming here for a starter, but then she saw Mo sitting in her hood. Optimus came up behind her and placed his paw on her shoulder, making her jump.
~This girl probably is here for her starter. Remember the abandoned Pokemon issued to trainers-to-be? I think she works well with hers.~ the Lucario spoke through his mind as usual.
Hide nodded, looking at how comfortable the Abra seemed sitting there. She took up two mugs of steaming cocoa, handed one along with two bisciuts to Ironhide, taking a sip out of the other. "You're here for a starter, right? Have you got an idea of a Pokemon you would like?" she asked.

Ironhide felt a whole lot better once she was inside. Her shivering immediately went down and she could feel Mo warming up as well with his head poking out underneath her chin. Ironhide held her gaze upon Optimus for a moment before looking away. She knew it wasn't polite to stare, but the colors on that Lucario were so... amazing!
Before Ironhide took the biscuits and cocoa, Mo teleported out of her hoodie and took a biscuit for himself, nibbling on it as he levitated next to Ironhide's head. "You know you could wait politely, Mo," Ironhide said as she took her cocoa and biscuit herself, the cold completely leaving her as she took a small sip from her mug.
As for a starter... She had been thinking. A Fire-type would be nice, but there were advantages and disadvantages to having one. There were other types, too; other types that, in the long run, would prove just as useful during the winter than a Fire-type. She expanded her mind, thinking about what Pokemon she would like to have... Her mind settled on three; Aron, Riolu, and Bagon. The reason for Riolu is that she loved Lucario, its evolved form. Aron had an extremely high strength and attack power, and Bagon because of its final evolved form, Salamence. After tapping her fingers on the side of her mug and listening to Mo nibble away contentedly on his biscuit, she made her decision. "Would you happen to have a Bagon?" she asked. Then she thought... What would a Shiny Bagon, Shellgon, and Salamence look like? She didn't dare ask as she didn't feel obliged to choose whether or not she got one, so she kept her mouth sealed.

ooc// Sorry about the shortness, not much time.
ic// Hide and Optimus exchanged glances. "Um... I'm not sure if you would be able to handle it, but we have a shiny Bagon. He isn't friendly at all, quite the opposite, but our other, normal Bagon is fairly welcoming." she said, retreiving two Pokeballs from the bottom of a deep drawer.
The shiny came out with a bored expression on his face. He eyed Ironhide dissaprovingly, and wondered off to punch deep dents in a punchbag on the far side of the room.
The normal looked up at Ironhide, tutting its fellow. ~He thinks he's so good, just because he's a shiny.~ it muttered, annoyed.

ooc:// That's fine Birdy (: You're allowed shortness
ic:// Ironhide exchanged glances with Mo, who had stopped nibbling on his biscuit and was swishing his small tail from side to side, meaning he was quite interested in what was going on now.
She watched the Shiny Bagon with interest; his attitude really needed some working on, she could tell. The normal one was what the Shiny Bagon should be acting like, despite its coloring. Well, if its attitude kept up like that, it would most definitely not get a trainer; that's when she made her decision.
"Well, just because he's shiny doesn't mean he should act like he's better. I bet you could beat him any day," Ironhide said to the Normal Bagon. "Well, someone will have to teach him manners one of these days. Might as well be sooner rather than later. I'll take the Shiny Bagon," Ironhide said. She looked down at the normal Bagon, wondering if she would regret choosing the Shiny one. "You'll definitely get a good trainer; you have a nice attitude and good manners... from what I can tell," she said to it. +Alas, he reminds me of myself when you first met me,+ Mo said, watching the Shiny Bagon with interest. Hide raised an eyebrow. "I would say it's about 50-50 with what people choose here. As for him, he's been here a while. Not many people ask for Bagon." she said.
Optimus gave- well, gave is the closest thing- Ironhide her starter kit. Surrounded in blue aura like the stuff now on the Lucario's palm, the items floated across the room, landing lightly into Ironhide's arms.
