A small, golden yellow lizard walked calmly down the tree-lined path, his paws in the blaze on the end of his tail. The shiny Charmander, Fairo, was glad to finally be out of that stuffy lab. When he had first hatched he had had a rough time, being born parentless into the hands of Professor Hide and her weird Lucario Optimus. He yawned and streched. Even in the cold, heating yourself with your own fire was better than there. He was finally on a real adventure!
He looked up at his trainer as the trees became more dense. They were still at the edge of the route, but it was still thickly forested. ~Sulteron, didn't you say that a mutated lab experiment found it's way to you?~ he asked curiously, blinking his wide, puppy-dog eyes.
Sulteron smiled. "That look doesn't work on me, Fairo. But I'll show Fiela to you, I have no reason not to if you're team mates." she took out the second of her two Pokeballs, enlargening it and pressing the button. A fluffy winged Eevee formed in her arms.
She cradled the Eevee and she purred back, sniffing the air. Her fur had paler colorings than a shiny, her eyes were red and she had small fluttering wings. She promptly sat up, tail swaying from side-to-side. ~Sulteron, who is this?~ she asked, meaning the strange yellow lizard.
Sulteron stroked Fiela's head and put her on the ground. "Fiela, this is the Pokemon I just recived at the lab. His name is Fairo. He is a shiny Charmander." she introduced, although Fairo knew who Fiela was. He smiled, and they shook paws. He thought the Eevee looked cute. Fiela thought he looked cool.
Fiela sniffed the air again. ~Sulteron, is that... an evolutionary stone?~ she gasped, leaping up the Espeon 'morph's leg with a little help from her unstable wings. Sulteron tried to lift the fox off, but she already had prised the Sun Stone wrapped in cloth from her backpack.
"That will make you evolve into an Espeon, but please, think about it first. Your DNA is muddled up, we don't know what you'll turn into," Sulteron pleaded. If young Fiela messed up so early, she wouldn't be able to stand it.
Fiela eyes darkened to a blood red as she became lost in thought. ~Your DNA is more muddled, and it worked for you, and your brother and father,~ she said slowly. Sulteron nodded. "But we don't know how else your DNA is muddled. I am made to be able to transform into an Espeon at will. Maybe if you evolved, a different part of your DNA would kick-start. Fiela, I don't know what I'd do if I lost you." she said.
Fiela looked pained. ~I've always wanted to become an Espeon.~ she said. Sulteron reached out to take the cloth, but it was too late. Fiela opened it and placed a paw on the stone's shiny surface.
Bright light shone everywhere. It wasn't the stuff you normally see in an evolution. It was blinding. It outshone the sun. The little Eevee screamed, head coming back as her body streched. Her wings popped, extending to be long enough to support the rapidly growing body. Tremors were riverbrating down her spine as the joint pulled and cracked. Her entire shape changed with an extremely unnatural evolution procedure.
When the light finally dimmed, Fiela dropped to the ground. Her fur was still the same color as the milky silver light, and it shone, although wasn't hard to look at. Standing, she would have reached just above Sulteron's elbow. The jewel on her forhead, instead of matching Sulteron's, was a saphire color. Her wings looked large enough to support her body now. The only bad thing was that she wasn't moving.
Sulteron gasped, rushing to the silver Espeon's side. She remembered First Aid. She checked for breathing. That was easy- shuddering gasps for air was making Fiela's flack heave. Her heart was racing ahead at far too fast a pace, although it seemed to be slowing. She put the Espeon in the recovery position, pumped her heart more, and breathed air into her lungs. Each second brought her closer to death, but Sulteron would not give up. She pumped harder, the heart pumping weakly in response when she wasn't pumping, and breathed more air. After five minutes Fiela's breathing was easier, and her heart was beating stronger.
It was Sulteron's utmost surprise when Fairo rested his clawed paws over hers and pumped, the strength coming from the small lizard a phenomenin. His claws dug into Sulteron's hand, leaving specks of blood, but she didn't care. Tears were misting both their visions. Fiela's state wasn't getting any better, and after another five minutes of alternately pumping and blowing he howled in hurt, throwing himself around the barely alive Espeon's shoulders. He kissed her, still sobbing, then came to his senses and threw himself at the Espeon. He told Sulteron to do the same, while he blowed warm air from his mouth into the cat's. Sulteron hurled herself again and again at the chest.
Fiela's breathing was shallow and her heart a faint, frantic, uneven pounding, but she was still alive. Just. Fairo could see she was weakening. He howled in anguish. ~I... won't... LOSE... YOU!!!!!~ he roared, ripping air into her lungs. Hot Charmander tears were speckling her silver fur as they streamed freely down Fairo's face.
Sulteron gasped. She was exhausted, and was hanging on the barest threads of hope that Fiela would pull through, but she kept pumping. She would need a miracle to pull Fiela through now. Maybe... just maybe, there was a Pokemon who could help. A good, strong, life-giving Pokemon. But that was impossible. Her own heart was blackening, already preparing to shrivel into madness in the seemingly likely event that Fiela died. "Oh, PLEASE! Someone! ANYTHING, HELP US! SHE DOESN'T DESERVE TO DIE! SHE'S ONLY A BABY!!!" she screamed, hoping something or someone would hear. She screamed with not only her voice but her mind, tendrils of pain, dispair and need reaching out to grasp anything to her aid.
ooc// I'm currently making a sprite for it, no need to worry.

A few Pokemon had stuck their heads out to watch the odd Charmander, Eevee, and 'morph as they made their way into the route. A Caterpie group watched, tilting their heads in unison as more and more excitement came. A few Pidgey's and Starly's that had decided to stay here for the winter poked their heads out of burrows in the trees, being sure to stay in and away from the cold they weren't used to.
A couple of Nuzleaf and Seedot watched from the treetops, not minding the cold too much. It had been a while since they had seen a Trainer that was half like them. And then, a Pokemon that definitely wasn't normal, the Eevee, and a Shiny Charmander. It wasn't a group you would see every day, and the Pokemon watching wanted to hear as much as they could when they spoke, so a few Pokemon were hopping, jumping, leaping, flying, and gliding from tree to tree as the three progressed.
A few Pokemon began chattering inaudibly amongst each other when they heard the Eevee protesting against her trainer about wanting to be an Espeon. A few made something like a gasp when the Eevee opened the cloth and touched the evolution stone. All that were watching shielded their eyes, and the ones that weren't were drawn by the sudden bright light.
When they recovered, more than three times as many eyes were watching from in trees, flying up above, peeking from underneath the snow in burrows and anywhere else you could think of. Everything was quiet except for the faint sound of beating wings, the wind, and Sulteron and Fairo yelling in desperation. All of the Pokemon exchanged glances, looking at each other helplessly. It was a pity, all of their eyes seemed to say, but nothing was said, not even a peep from the youngest Pokemon around. The older Pokemon here had one thought no how to save the suffering newly-evolved mutated Espeon, but none knew how to do it.
When Sulteron's voice rang throughout the forest, possible help heard it. The help had been levitating in mid-air in a small clearing, a patch of wet grass underneath it, the only grass that wasn't covered in snow. Heat was eminated from the Pokemon's body, and its closed eyes soon opened as it heard the desperate cry for help. In its past it would have completely ignored it, or made the situation worse but now it was trying to make up for what it had done, trying to get a better reputation around. Swishing its long purple tail from side to side, it began moving at a brisk pace towards the cry for help.
In record time, the Pokemon found the Trainer and Pokemon; a 'morph being a trainer. He respected 'morphs better than humans since they could at least communicate well and didn't get too cocky... not the ones he had seen, anyways. Before letting himself be seen, he looked at the situation; the trainer was holding her Espeon in her arms, apparently trying to keep her alive and the Charmander was helping out. What caught his eye is that the Espeon wasn't normal; she was mutated, an experiment no doubt. That's what drove him to really help out this time.
All of the Pokemon that had been watching in plain view now shrunk to the shadows as the sensed the presence of the powerful Pokemon nearby. The flying-types that had been overhead were now sharing holes with complete strangers as they all searched for a space to hide, fearing if they made one mistake they would suffer its wrath. A few meters away a large, looming figures outline was made out, getting steadily more visible.
Soon, the figure was in plain sight; it had a form resembling a human. It's neck was about as thick as a pencil, and was curved to support the large head. Its body was a light purple, and the abdomen was a dark purple, going all the way down and around to its back to show a long and thick, dark purple tail. Its fingers were much shorter than a humans, and the ends looked like small balls, though there were only three fingers each. Despite its intimidating body posture and form, the eyes showed it meant no harm. They were the same color as most of its body, and looked like an innocents.
Glancing down at the Espeon, the Pokemon before Sulteron could tell that she was in dire need of medical attention, but there was nothing close enough. Besides his usual moves that he knew, he had an extra one that Mew had let him know he had; he had the ability to give life, but at a great cost. Depending on how much life he gave, he could take his own life. It was a risk he was willing to take, though. It was then that he looked Sulteron dead in the eye, and spoke.
"Everything will be alright. Stand back for a moment,"
he said as he ran his ball-tipped fingers through Fiela's beautiful fur. If a Pokemon and trainer were closely linked, and the Pokemon was gravely injured, he knew that the Trainer would suffer greatly. until he or she knew their Pokemon would be alright. He had seen this happen before, and he respected it; he himself had never had a trainer, but rather a master... and that hadn't turned out so well. They had turned him into a monster, forced him to do things he didn't want to do until he got smart enough and strong enough to do things of he own free will. He closed his eyes, remembring a particular trainer that had been ambushed by a pack of wild poochyena, his Houndour trying its best to protect against the pack, but to no avail; the Houndour taking on as many as it could, and its trainer doing the same. It had been winter and food was scarce, forcing the Poochyena to turn on an actual trainer. The Houndour had not survived, and the trainer had scars, both physically and emotionally. His one hope is that he would save this Espeon and have both the Espeon and Trainer reunited happily, so that the Espeon could live to tell how she survived the evolution despite her gene mutation. In a way, she was like Mewtwo; both one of a kind and both DNA tampered with. ooc:// Woohoo! Can't wait to see it! =D Sorry for crappy reply, I'm not very creative at the moment xD

Although Sulteron could not make out the form that stood before her, she obeyed, standing back to allow him to run his strange fingers down Fiela's glossy, sweat covered fur. She watched as he worked in his strange way, saying nothing for she was sure he must know plenty to be able to do this. She was suddenly aware of many Pokemon watching them; Pidgey and Starly, Caterpie, Nuzleaf and Seedot. She looked across at their faces, reading their worried expressions. She was amazed that the strange Eevee, and now Espeon, had managed to attract such a crowd.
Fairo was, although he wouldn't admit it, finding Fiela... rather nice. More than that. Fiela seemed to think of him as a friend, but he wanted more than that. Siblings, or even... you know. He desperately wished for the Espeon to make a full recovery, and this figure seemed to know what he was doing. The Charmander was curious as the figure ran his hands along Fiela's spine. Maybe he had special powers?
Air flowed out of Fiela's mouth in a gasp as her heartbeat grew stronger. Sulteron and Fairo clutched their arms nervously, their nails or claws digging in. The Espeon's eyes flickered open, revealing two still pupiless purple orbs. She gulped down air, panting as she recovered. Her gaze looked to Sulteron and Fairo, who were sighing with relief, tired. She remembered somethings pumping her heart and breathing into her. That must have been them. Then... what was this strange figure? She looked directly into his face.

Mewtwo held the newly-evolved Espeon's head in his arms. The onlookers seemed to lean in to see what he would do, complete silence around them. Mewtwo closed his eyes as he placed one of his hands on the Espeon's head, and then something very unnatural happened.
When Mewtwo did this, he began to glow a purple color. The glow got brighter and brighter, then it suddenly went into the Espeon, making Fiela glow as well. Mewtwo struggled to keep it going, not stopping until he could feel a steady, normal heartbeat from the Espeon. He continued this, a humming sound coming from Mewtwo and Fiela as he worked his ways.
Mewtwo felt his own strength draining, things fading away a little bit. With a last burst of energy, he pushed as much as he could into the Espeon, sweat covering every inch of Mewtwo. When he pushed the last of what he could into the Espeon, he fell backwards, collapsing as he himself was in the place of the Espeon now. His whole body shuddered with weakness, and he struggled to keep himself propped up with his small frail-like arms now. He panted heavily, his eyes closed. Glancing over at Fiela, he hoped for the best; he had never done this before, but he was certain he had been successful, or he would not have been in the condition he was now in. This was the weakest he had ever been in his entire life.

Fiela felt odd as Mewtwo's body merged into hers. As the legendary began to glow, she felt awkward as the Pokemon went... inside her. He touched her injured parts, soothed the pain. Her heart kept a steady, strong beat. She wished there were something she could do to help Mewtwo, who currently seemed to be weakening himself. Was it a he? She couldn't tell; Mewtwo were genderless. It seemed to prefer he.
Fiela's breathing was even, her heartbeat back to normal as Mewteo's light dimmed from her. She felt not that much weaker than she had been before the evolution. She bounded over and clutched Mewtwo's paw. ~Mewtwo! You saved my life! I will do anything you want. Do you need any help with your weak condition? My trainer has some Potions and stuff.~ she said, wordless gratitude in her eyes.
Sulteron was amazed. From what she had heard, Mewtwo was a clone gone wrong that had turned evil. Hey, maybe it had changed its ways. Maybe doing a few good deeds had helped, and made the Pokemon feel good. Maybe he was just sick of evil deeds and obeying cruel masters. Whatever the reason, Sulteron hoped and could see evidence that the legendary was finally doing good.

Mewtwo exhaled with relief; it had worked. The Espeon was definitely more healthy than she had been before... more than could be said for him. But, the pain felt good, he realised. The weakness he felt... it was an experience he had never felt before. He wanted it to last for a while, at least. He would likely not get a chance to feel like a normal Pokemon again.
Mewtwo was startled at Fiela's offer. "No need to, young one. I will be fine; just give it time. You'll need your items more than I do in the future. Just forget about me,"
he said, standing up uneasily. Already, he could slowly feel a tiny bit of strength rushing back into him. Enough to glide, anyways. Mewtwo looked from Fiela to Sulteron, Sulteron to Fairo, and Fairo back to Fiela. "Next time, heed your trainer's advice. It could save your life," he said, before turning away and slowly drifting back into the forest, blending into the shadows of the trees. A few moments passed, then the normal sounds of the Pokemon in burrows, scampering around for food, and whapping each other with snow was heard. Mewtwo was gone, despite Fiela's gratitude. Almost like those heroes that save the damsels or whoever, then ride off into the sunset asking for nothing...

Sulteron waved when she realised Mewtwo had the intention of going. When the legendary had walked off, Fiela smiled sheepishly. ~I sort of wish I had taken your advice.~ she said. ~Then I wouldn't have come close to death, and Mewtwo wouldn't have been injured. Sorry.~ she apologised.
Sulteron shook her head. "There's no need to be sorry, Fiela. Noone knew what would happen. I don't think a Pokemon mutant has ever evolved before. Those scientists must be happy, the sick nerds." she said, stroking Fiela's fur as the threesome began to walk. Fairo was grinning foolishly.
Fiela smiled, relaxed. She flexed her wings and took a few steps forward, beating them down. A whoosh of air flowed beneath her as she rose a few feet in the air. It was obvious she had never flown before- her movements were jerky, and she wobbled, unsure. She landed in a heap, trotting back to her trainer. Despite her bad flying, she was happy that she could fly. But there was something else, an extra thing to her new brain. She searched through it, finding it was like a door. She could reach into the minds of the confused Pokemon who had been watching her, move the falling snowflakes. She suddenly realised. This had to be her Psychic abilities! ~Sulteron, I think I just found my abilities. Could you teach me sometime?~ she asked. Sulteron nodded.
The three continued to walk passed the trees. They became steadily denser, until one point they remained the same density. Sulteron figured this must mean they were approaching the middle.

A small brown-and-white bird was perched all alone, watching the threesome curiously. It cocked its head and ruffled its wings, shaking the snow off that had been gathering on it. That had been an interesting show there, it thought. It wondered what the strange mutated Espeon was capable, since she had survived the evolution.
Puffing up its chest, the little bird took flight, its body only slightly larger than its head as it flew downwards. It flew around the head of Sulteron for a while before finally perching on the head of the Espeon. Wow.. the Espeon's head was quite warm, considering how chilly it was out.
Wild Shiny Starly Appeared!
Will you engage in battle, try to make friends, or go a different way of dealing with its encounter?

Sulteron smiled. Starly were so cute. And this one seemed to have slightly different color feathers- most she remembered had white and grey plumage, this one had white and brown. A shiny, then. She looked at it on its perch of Fiela's fluffy head. The Espeon seemed quite happy at the gesture, smiling and trying not to move her head as her pupiless eyes pointed upward.
Sulteron spoke to the bird. "Hello, my name is Sulteron. This is Fairo the Charmander and Fiela the Espeon. Would you like a battle? If you do, I don't mind which one you would like to battle with." she said. Both Fairo and Fiela looked up for a challenge.

The Starly ruffled its feathers a bit in excitement. A challenge? That sounded like a great idea! It hadn't fought a whole lot, and by the looks of it... the Charmander needed some practice. If it could survive the Charmander, somehow, it would battle the Espeon. Its thinking was quite advanced for a Pokemon as young as it was.
+Fairo looks like a good match-up,+
it said, the words sounding like they had been coo'd together. The Starly took up flight again, circling around a bit, looking at its surroundings before landing a meter in front of Fairo. +I should be an easy match, I think. I really haven't battled before,+ the Starly admitted as it hopped up and down, side to side in excitement. This Starly obviously had a lot of energy.

Sulteron nodded. "It's OK if you're an easy match, Starly. If we defeat you, you can come with us, and get stronger. Hey, you might even evolve!" she exclaimed. Now THAT would be an exciting prospect. Also, this bird would make a good adition to the team. It seemed to have plenty of energy, a good, cheery, personality, and could fly. "Hey, Starly, it's Fairo's first battle too! I guess that makes you evenly matched!" she exclaimed.
Fairo leaped forward as far as he could. He was pleased to see he landed in the spot opposite Starly, where Pokemon would normally stand if they were battling. Although he didn't want to show it in case Starly though he was weak, butterflies were awakening in his stomach. He was extremely nervous that he would screw up on his first ever battle. He remembered his moves; Scratch and Growl. He knew he would be able to use them.
Sulteron slipped into his mind. She felt him notice, a shocked feeling inside his mind. +Fairo,+ she said telepathically, +If I communicate with you this way it will be easier, noone else will hear. Try and hit Starly with a Scratch attack. You'll do great.+ she reassured him. Fairo seemed to relax a little at his trainer's trust in him, but it also made him feel the need to do well even stronger. Nevertheless, he darted foward, claw glinting in the sunlight.

The Starly liked the sound of that; getting stronger... Perhaps even evolving. It hopped a made a happy cry at the thought of evolving. It had always dreamed of becoming a Staraptor... +I guess so. Good luck, Fairo,+
the Starly said eagerly. The Starly was even more energetic that it had been before; if it wasn't careful it would get too worked up before even beginning the fight. First battle, though... it couldn't really help it. It remembered the moves it had; Quick Attack, Growl, and Peck. It had an idea of what to use first. The Starly was deciding which move to use while Sulteron was using telepathy with Fairo. Of course, it had no idea what to expect, so while it was still thinking it was quite surprised to see the Charmander whip into action. Surprised by the suddenness, it took the hit full-on, while at the same time unleashing its own Fury Attack on Fairo. It could feel itself weaken as the Charmander's claws made contact, and it hoped that it did the same with its Fury Attack.

Starly's hopes were put into reality; Fairo felt to beak peirce his coating of scales as he inflicted his own attack. He leaped back lightly after the damage exchange, not wanting to cause any more pain on his part. After all, the longer you gave a Pokemon to attack, the more damage they would be able to cause.
+That's it, Fairo! Don't let the pain dishearten you; Scratch again!+ Sulteron's calm but encouraging voice floated into his mind. Her eyes were closed, her red jewel twinkling in the sunlight. The Charmander smiled, for he knew the Starly would have no warning over what he would use. But then again, neither did he. Starly had noone to tell it what to do, so it was impossible. But yet another arguement could be that the Starly didn't have a large human brain backing it up.
The Charmander darted forwards, eyeing the beak carefully. His yellow scales sent spots of light onto the snow and ice, making them reflect again. Little beams of the yellow light danced on the trees, playing in the leaves as his paw extending with brutal intentions.

The Starly was glad when Fairo finally stopped his attack. It wasn't sure how long it would last against this Pokemon that was likely twice as strong and had much higher defence. The Starly then thought about one of its moves; Would it work, possibly? Being that much bigger could be a big disadvantage in speed, right?
The Starly waited for Fairo to attack; its own battle maneuvers could possibly outwit the trainer and her Pokemon if it did the moves just right. It only hoped it would last long enough to do some damage to Fairo to show that it was no quitter. It never really had been, even when in its younger days. This was, however, its first battle... a taste of what to come, it decided.
The Starly stood its ground as it watched Fairo dart forward; a second or less before Fairo would have made contact with the Starly, the Starly used Quick Attack. Darting from one place to another, faster than the eye could follow, it went around Fairo in a circle a few times one way, then the other, hoping to get him confused before attacking. Feeling quite confident about it now, the Starly flew like a speeding bullet towards Fairo; only a blur of brown and white feathers visible, in hopes of making contact with Fairo.

Fairo's eyes swiveled speedily in their sockets. If he had continued to make them do so, they would have burned holes in the sockets with the heat energy from the friction caused. Luckily, he started moving his entire body instead, twisting this way and that for the chance to possible ward the Starly if they met head on. He kept his eyes on the bird, but that was very... difficult. The Starly was a mere flicker of movement now. He couldn't see it! When the bird dived in, Fairo was not expecting it, for he had grown used to the darting. He let out a sharp 'arf' as the bird struck his stomach.
Sulteron was annoyed with the bird too. She knew Starly were well-known for incredible speeds, but their Defenses weren't so good. So if she and Fairo played to that, they would have what it took to win. To take advantage of Starly's low Defense they would use Fairo's Attack power, and Speed with Fairo's reflexes. +Fairo, Starly have low Defense. If you get in a few good attacks, it should be defeated, but watch out, for it will be able to dodge easily. Scratch.+
Fairo gave the slightest nod. He pretended to be still moping over his wounds. When the Starly gave close enough, he whipped out with a savage snarl and prepared his Scratch.
