Welcome to the Professor's Lab. From the outside it doesn't seem like that much of an important building. Decorated with small trees, the entrance is somewhat welcoming. From behind it a large range can be seen, in which many pokemon take residence. Inside, the room in which many trainers receive their first pokemon is quite large, airy and covered in various papers and pokeballs.

Sinjoenn has three starters of its own! Anyone can choose one, no matter what rarity you got! You'll always be able to pick from these three starters, but since they're of the Rare rating their shiny forms are a fourth-tier thing.
Tigrily - Flarepup - Beavern
Now, about the starters... depending on your character biography and entrance post for the lab, the more options you will have. Which means, the better your bio and more descriptive your entrance post is, the better your selection! If you want a shiny, they count as the tier above what they normally are from.
