Appearance
Johnny has short brown hair that is mostly straight. He got the hair from his father, who would be his twin if you were to compare them at the same age. He usually keeps it quite tidy, to keep from looking like a street boy who could care less about his appearance. His father always teased him if a single hair was out of place.
Usually, Johnny wears a black hoody and a thin, baggy black long-sleeved shirt with a button at the neck under it. But, however, that is during the colder seasons, such as fall/autumn and winer, and perhaps the colder days of spring. During the scorching months of summer, he can usually be seen with his thin, baggy long-sleeved shirt with a button at the collar.
The only thing he inherited from his mother was the eye color. They are about the same color as his hair, and most find that they are sweet and sensitive, and they get the ladies pretty good, too. He had no siblings, so he can't be compared to any relatives other than his mom and dad.
Johnny is more of a weight-lifting guy. His current state of muscle is fairly decent for a guy of his age. Quite often he can be seen showing off to the littler kids with his Hitmonlee that his father had gotten when he was a kid. Together, the pair was unbelievable, and actually entered a few contests together, including a couple of coordinator contests.
Most of Johnny's skin is smooth, like a 'baby's bottom' as you would say now-a-days. But his hands are like sandpaper. Of course, from all the weight-lifting he did outside with his home-made weights. He rarely gets a tan, as he doesn't spend much time on the beac, but his skin is dark enough looking in his opinion. Not a ghostly pale, but not a potato brown either.
Personality
Johnny is what appears to be a typical kind of guy. He was born in a typical region, on a scorching hot day. But, as he grew older, he became more of an extortionist, getting whatever he wanted easily. To the public, he is mostly polite, with the rare occurrence that he mouths off to them. He is a go-getter kind of guy; Doesn't stop at anything until he gets what he wants, even if it is near impossible to get. Such as doing motorcycle stunts at carnivals and such when he was younger. He has a high tolerance level, but when you break that, you better watch out.
Johnny, before becoming a trainer, was a stunt devil with basically anything, mainly motorcycles. People were amazed at his bravery, though he thinks it's nothing. Anyone can do anything they want if they set their mind to it, he says. His motto is 'You can't live in fear,'. The thing that amuses him most is how many people didn't even know how to ride motorcycles. Every show, since his dad let him, he would do tricks with their Hitmonlee or their Blaziken.
Nothing really gets him angry. Except, perhaps, one thing...Betrayal. He has gotten betrayed before, and he went on a, ah...'Rampage', and it nearly landed him in jail. He has no poke peeves, so nothing ticks him off. Even annoying people that would annoy everyone else in the world don't bother him.
Same goes for if he is approached by someone who is intentionally being rude. If they want to be rude, then let them be rude, it's their own problem, he says. He also thinks that fighting isn't something that is necessary in real life, and he lives up to that, never being in a single fight his entire life, discluding Pok�mon battles, which he finds exhilerating.
History
Johnny was born in a large city from another Region, though he forgets what it is called. He and his parents moved to Kanoa when he was only two years old. Back in his old region, there had scarecely been any pokemon, because the land was ruled by one of the evil teams, but here...Johnny made good friends with a lot of stray Pok�mon and wild ones. It was like they had been meant for each other, almost. His first word was 'Charmander', amazingly. It sounded more like 'Shahmanduh', but it was clear what he was saying when they looked at what he was looking at.
After moving to the Cyradis region, away from the brutal 'other region', the family was relieved. Johnny's father smoked quite a bit, and got lung cancer a few days after Johnny's tenth birthday. His mom is completely different, though. She doesn't drink or smoke, but rather keeps Johnny healthy...Even with her own health problems. He was, after all, their 'miracle' child. There was something wrong with his mother(Who's name is Jenn), that just wouldn't let her reproduce ((Won't go into detail there, for the kids' sake =3)). She had an unknown disease, and it was slowly killing her, and it eventually did, her dieing the day after Johnny's sixteenth birthday.
Johnny had a very hard time making friends in Cyradis, and the ones he did make, their parents disapproved of him for some reason...Perhaps it was the clothes he wore, or his dad smoking too much? Either way, he only grew up with one good friend, who moved away just less than a year ago. Ever since then, Johnny has been by himself a lot, and has had the occasional mood swings that a guy will have. He still hasn't gotten over it, and keeps a picture of his best friend, Roxy, in his jeans.
Johnny's goal as a trainer is to have only dark, fire, and maybe electric-type Pok�mon. If he wants to, or has to, he'll catch other sorts...But that is his 'resolution' for being a trainer. He likes how it is right now...He has just went away from home, telling his dad he wanted to become a trainer. His father just bear-hugged him, not sure what else to do, as he left. Johnny said that he didn't want to live with his dad his entire life, that he wanted to do something more, get more well-known, perhaps even make a few friends at what he would be doing. That was his reason, he said, because kids who live with their parents their entire life are looked down upon.
