The three Azuril twittered in fear, hopping randomly about themselves while Azumaril tried to keep them in order. The noise they made grew louder and louder, until-~CELE!~ The small black and red sparkles suddenly began to attract one another, being drawn to a larger one above the ground. A lay of light- although it was black, and gave off evil vibes- formed, growing larger until the source of the cries appeared at the epicenter. It was Celebi. The evil Celebi. The one that had escaped Team Vex and travelled to the past. Nicknamed Melebi, the 'M' standing for 'mutant', or 'murderer'. She was larger than the original, had a deeper, more powerfull voice, and was clearly stronger than previous sightings suggested. ~Blubbering idiots!~ she boomed, ~I take pleasure in returning to the past and destroying, causing things to disappear now! My only problem is I need more power. And I gain power as other people loose. But if they regain energy, I loose mine. So, naturally, I have to kill them. Now it's your turn.~ she smirked. Yamna said something. ~You! You made my wife disappear! I'll make you PAY!~ he screeched, flinging himself wildly at Melebi. She knocked him out with a single Energy Ball without so much as batting an eyelid.

Ironhide noticed the unease in the Azuril and Azumaril. To Irohide, the sound, or voice as she decided it was, seemed oddly familiar, or something that would become familiar. An idea came to mind... 'Cele'... could that be what she thought it was? Before she could think anymore, she stopped her thinking and watched with a slight sense of horror about her as a black and red area of light appeared suddenly, forming into something.
Mo, Ea, and Dong along with Ironhide watched in amazement, fascination, and some horror as the evil Celebi appeared before them. Somewhere, Ironhide had heard it had been nicknamed 'Melebi', the 'M' in place of the 'C' for several reasons. So, if 'Melebi' was here, now... where was the original Celebi? And, from what she had heard, Melebi looked much stronger than she had thought. And now, with a face-to-face encounter... It was a horrifying experience. Just the colors were enough to scare Ironhide, and... the voice. Oh, the voice... it didn't sound friendly at all. Of course, voices could be deceiving, but with looks like that; the voice matched perfectly.
Blubbering idiots? To whom was Melebi addressing? Ironhide, her Pokemon, or the young Azuril? It was quite obvious that Melebi had her own intentions of making things disappear. By the way she talked about it, she didn't enjoy it; it was a hobby, more or less. Perhaps the Azuril's friend they had been playing with had been a part of Melebi killing off Pokemon and humans, as she had said. Ironhide watched the Yanma in amazement at the Yanma flinging himself at Melebi. Made his wife disappear? Well, that made sense now; that's why he had been picking on the Grimer earlier, taking out its emotions on the Grimer. Ironhide watched the Yanma simply 'tossed' aside easily. If the Celebi could do that to the Yanma, what would she do to the Azuril? It was time to take action, and quit being so shocked. She quickly returned Dong, for fear of his life being taken. He didn't protest, and in fact, seemed eager to go back inside.
+What are we going to do, Darvy? We're no match for her,+
Ea whimpered. "I have an idea," Ironhide whispered back. Mo still knew Teleport; she woudl never have him forget it, for it would be quite useful in situations like this, not that this would happen every day, or even every year. "Azumaril, come here, and bring your little ones!" Ironhide shouted. Ea hung onto Ironhide, who was hanging onto Mo, who held out a hand to the Azumaril, ready to Teleport out of danger. As Mo's brow furrowed and beads of sweat trickled down his back with the effort to Teleport so many, disappeared. He reappeared closer to Avura Town. Melebi was not in sight.
~Think you can get away from me, huh?~ wait... how did Melebi's voice get here? Then it became apparent as a small black and red figure formed in mid-air before the group. Melebi, from the look of things, had traveled back through time and back again to this spot rather than the other one. She sighed, and now looked sad.
~As much as I hate to say it... I need your help. I don't want to kill! Team Vex, they were so evil! They forced me to do this. If I don't kill, I grow weak. They altered my brain so I would serve them with their evil deeds. But they forgot I still have my own personality, my own way of thinking. And since I'm Celebi's clone, part of that way is Celebi's. The other mutated clones of legendaries may not think this, but I do. I escaped, so I ought to put things right. Will you help me be free of my curse of a thirst for power?~ Melebi practically begged. She looked as though she was telling the truth... now there's something you don't see every day, no?

Mo was relieved he had been able to Teleport them all to safety. Or, so he thought, anyways. Melebi was not in sight, but he knew that Melebi would show up sooner or later, whether they wanted her to or not.
Looking around as the voice entered their heads, they soon found Melebi, materializing before them. Ironhide and Ea stepped back, but Mo sensed something a little different about the Melebi this time. Though, he didn't share it with anyone else. Rather, he stood his ground, fixing his gaze directly on Melebi. Just as he had thought, Melebi looked different now, too. Instead of looking evil like she had, she now looked a bit sad. But, why? It soon became apparent.
Ironhide listened carefully to Melebi. What if Melebi was trying to fool them, and lure them into a trap? What if this was how she had done it to her earlier prey? But, when Ironhide noticed Mo not flinching now, she knew that the Melebi, for now at least, meant no harm, and was genuinely asking for help. Mo glanced over at Ironhide, who glanced at him, and both nodded. "Melebi, I'd, uh... love to, but I have no idea of... how to, uh... help," Ironhide said a bit nervously.

Melebi flew about stressfully, making cries of distress as she did so. Humans were supposed to be intelligent, so she was sure she was doing the right thing here... after all, she had been watching this human ever since she came onto the Marshlands, and she seemed intelligent enough, with a clever looking Kadabra as well. Melebi did something she had never done before- looked helpless. She definately looked helpless, and she felt that at least she had started to feel normal emotions. Maybe this was the first step to becoming normal, or at least normal-minded?
~I was hoping you would know. Perhaps you could find some alternative? Something that would be like power, but not do any harm?~ she asked, cocking her head to one side. Maybe... a Pokemon's energy? Perhaps a beam attack, or an Electric type one... but where would she find electric Pokemon?

Ironhide was completely convinced now; Melebi looked like she needed help, acted like she needed help, so therefore, in her eyes, she did, in fact, need help. No Pokemon, or human, she thought, could fake this good if you were looking for flaws in how they were acting. After all, if Melebi even so much as thought she needed help, then she was beginning to sort of start to become normal, right?
Ironhide thought for a while, nothing coming to mind for an 'alternative'. However, Mo piped up. +What about a strong electric-type's energy? Would that work?+
he asked. +Or something that would have energy, like an Energy Ball, perhaps?+ he asked, referring to the move 'Energy Ball'. Of course, those were just suggestions; who knew if they would work, even if they did, by some miracle, find a Pokemon that was electric or knew that exact move in the Marshlands?

Melebi did not hear anything that happened after that; she was too lost in thought. She paused, seeming to be thinking of something vital, or something she did not want to do unless truly desperate, for example now. She cocked her head. ~There's a Power Plant on Route Ten, no? And also there's another one, off the path you trainers take, but still easily accessible. What do you say I-~ she gulped and paused, as though still not descided. -~J-join your team for a while? Just until we get to a power plant, then I'll leave. I won't fight in a battle for you, mind you.~ she blurted out. She had never had trainer before, and technically Ironhide was just a friend. Her first friend.

Mo and Ironhide awaited a reply from Melebi. It seemed as though she hadn't even been paying attention to Mo's suggestion completely, if at all. "Yes, there is one off that trainer's take, now that I think about it," Ironhide said, remembering having heard of a Power Plant where some strong electric-type Pokemon could be found deep in the interior, which was where they would need to go if they went there. Ironhide was shocked at the question from Melebi; join her team? Even temporarily as she would, that was... not something that happened every day. She exchanged surprised glances with Mo before answering. "That would, uh... be fine, I suppose. And you wouldn't have to fight for me, Melebi. I have my own Pokemon that would like to battle, anyways. Besides, you aren't my Pokemon. You aren't anyone's Pokemon, really, so you don't have to listen to anyone," Ironhide said. Was this really wise, though, allowing Melebi to tag along to the Power Plant? Only time woudl tell.

A warm grin spread across Melebi's face, and she looked almost normal. Perhaps happiness was the cure? Whatever the matter, the Legendary travelling with Ironhide was bound to reveal the cure for this thirst for power. Melebi looked at the other Pokemon, who had so far been watching in awe. Yamna had recovered as well. Azuril were bouncing excitedly in no pertucular order, quite a comical thing to watch.
Yamna presently went up to Ironhide. ~Melebi's descition has kinda persuaded me to do this... I want to get stronger myself. I promised Melissa. How about we finish that battle? If you win, you can catch me. If I win, I stay here.~ he offered.

Ironhide knew deep down this was the right thing to do for sure now. Melebi even almost looked normal after Ironhide said she'd help her somehow rid her thirst for power once and for all, and not just temporarily. The Azuril seemed to be in a happier mood, and then it was clear that the tension was nearly all gone. She smiled at the sight of the bouncing Azuril, then turned to the Yanma who had finally recovered from Celebi's attack.
"Sure, Yanma. I'd love to finish the battle," Ironhide said, glancing at Melebi, hoping the slight delay wouldn't anger her. Ea came out from behind Ironhide, glancing still-warily at Melebi. She wasn't ready to trust her; not just yet. She released Dong again and handed him the EXP. Share. "We're finishing the battle, Dong. I want you out so you can get some experience as well," Ironhide said. Dong didn't seem too happy about it, and looked a bit fearful at the sight of Melebi. +Don't worry, Dong. Melebi is, well... kind of better now. She won't attack you or anyone else here,+
Mo reassured Dong. That seemed to do the trick, and Dong fastened the EXP. Share around his rotund little body, ready for the battle to begin. Despite how young he was, he sure was going through a lot. "I'll let you have first move," Ironhide said to the Yanma.

Melebi moved to Ironhide's shoulder as the battle began. Although no change was present on her face, her voice resounded in Ironhide's head. +I think he's going to use Tackle. If you can use a move to reflect it, then it might be possible to send him into that tree. That might hurt more than an ordinary Pokemon move.+ the voice said. Melebi gave the girl a small wink. The mutant may be recovering from being evil but she would sure come in handy giving advice in battles!
Yamna, oblivious to anything Melebi had done since moving to Ironhide, had a sly grin on his face as he pulled back a little in preparation for the charge. His wings buzzed, sending him shooting forward towards Ea. Could the little Fire type pull off the move? Or would Yamna, still weak from Melebi's attack, strike successfully?

"Thanks," Ironhide thought to Melebi. And, sure enough, the Yanma used Tackle. Ironhide wouldn't count on Melebi giving away the attacks for every battle, or even many at all, but it was nice having her around. However, Ironhide waited until last second to shout out her order for Ea.
"Ea, use Quick Attack!" Ironhide said. Happy to comply, Ea dodged the Tackle at last second by using Quick Attack, going first behind the Yanma, then back in front of it, and then charging forward in only a matter of seconds. Well, considering the Yanma was a bit weaker than before, it would be easier, but she knew the Yanma wouldn't give in so easily. He could be a valuable addition to her team, she knew.

Yamna seemed as though just one more attack might finish him off. The Quick Attack hit easily, the dragonfly being unable to dodge too well. He fell to the ground, where he appeared to be defeated. After laying there a while, the Yamna's wings buzzed feebly. He was lifted a few feet in the air, the used his own Quick Attack on Ea.

"Alright, Ea. Finish him off, but don't be too harsh. Tackle!" Ironhide said as she figured the Yanma was near defeat on the ground. Ea quickly began running towards the Yanma and was surprised when the Yanma got back up and used its own Quick Attack. Upon being hit unexpectedly by the Quick Attack, Ea unleashed an Ember, immediately wishing she hadn't. It was just sort of... surprise reaction, though.

Yamna flinched as the flames scalded his wings, and he fell to the ground, the thin transparent things flapping weakly at his sides. The attack intestified as the epicenter flowed over his body, shuddering as he felt his little remaining strength flicker and disappear altogether like a candle in a breeze. Just like that, the Yamna was defeated.
Yamna was defeated! Ea gained one level!
Melebi presently smiled at Ironhide. ~You know, you aren't bad. I wouldn't mind staying with you for a while. I'll tell you what; when I do leave, it will not be for forever.~ she promised. If she were an ordinary Pokemon, that would not have mattered too much, but, being a legendary, this was pretty special to hear.
