A Good Night's Rest

Upon seeing lights in the distance, Dexter picked up his pace. Umbra had given up trying to sleep, as she just wasn't tired anymore. She was padding alongside Dexter, and was glad to pick up the pace. +Oh, goodie! A town. Is there a Gym here?+

[/color] Umbra asked. Dexter shook his head and slowed down as they entered Parchville, which was clearly marked on a signpost. "No, there is no gym here, but there is in the next town," he said. Umbra sighed, and began looking for a nice place to sleep. "Look out for a PokeCenter. I want to get you guys healed up, and then I need to rest myself," Dex said. Umbra nodded, and ironically, the first thing she saw was a PokeCenter. +Over there!+[/color] she said, as she scampered in the street lights towards the PokeCenter. Dexter hurried after her, wondering how she could've found it so fast. He entered the sliding doors, and approached the desk. "Welcome to the Pokemon Center! We can heal your Pokemon to full health. Would you like us to heal your Pokemon?" came the automatic joyful response of Nurse Joy. "Yes, please. Alright, Umbra, in you go," Dexter said, returning Umbra. He handed all six Pokeballs on his belt to Nurse Joy, and every one of his Pokemon were healed in a matter of seconds. "Nurse Joy, would it be alright if I spent the night here? In the lounge?" Dexter asked. "Sure. I don't see why you'd want to spend the night here, as we don't have adequate sleeping places, but feel free to," she said. Dexter made his way to a couch, lay down, and quickly fell asleep.

Dexter awoke to a furry thing up against his head. He turned it slightly to see Umbra, fast asleep. As soon as he moved though, she stirred and woke. +Oh. I was wondering when you would wake up,+[/color] Umbra said, stretching. "Yeah, well... I think I'm good and awake, and ready to hit the road again. I hope you don't mind getting dirty," Dexter said. +Depends on your definition of 'dirty',+[/color] Umbra said, hopping down from the couch. "Well, you'll soon find out," Dex said. He thanked Nurse Joy and left, heading onto the next route.
