"Alright, what do you all think of this town? Pretty nice and quiet, right?" Ironhide said, as she passed by a few small stores with some people in in. A PokeMart was next... she was tempted to go in to see the selection, but decided against it and rather continued on, looking for the PokeCenter. She spotted it a few blocks ahead, at the end of a dead end. She made her way quickly towards it, holding the young Spheal that weighed quite a bit as he couldn't keep up by wiggling on dirt and pavement very well.
Inside the PokeCenter, since this had been her first time in a real one, she stopped as she entered it. She saw many trainers grooming their Pokemon as they sat down. "Welcome to the PokeCenter!" a cheerful voice said. Ironhide turned to see the oh-so-familiar Nurse Joy. "Thank you," Ironhide said in a cheerful voice back. "Would you like your Pokemon to be healed?" Nurse Joy asked. "Yes, please," Ironhide said, returning each of her Pokemon. She gave all four Pokeballs to Nurse Joy, who placed them on a tray on a machine. A familiar sing-song noise emitted from the machine as all of her Pokemon were healed. "Thank you, Nurse Joy," Ironhide said as she received her Pokeballs back. She stepped outside of the PokeCenter, and first thing she did was release Mo. +Ah, that was quite refreshing,+
As they were leaving town, a small voice caught Ironhide's attention. "Excuse me! Wait up!" a young girl's voice drifted to her ears. Ironhide and Mo instinctively turned to see a young girl holding a package as she chased after the two. As she caught up, she bent over, resting her hands on her knees as she caught her breath. "I want you... to have... this," she said, handing the package to Ironhide. "Oh, well... thank you. What's your name, young lady?" Ironhide asked, sticking the package in her pack. "I'm Penny. I really like your Kadabra! I hear it's really hard to get one of those from an Abra," Penny said, smiling as she looked Mo over. "Oh, well... you just have to go through a lot of training. Nothing is too hard if you put your mind to it," Ironhide replied a little sheepishly. "Really? Thanks for the fact; I'll remember that for when I become a Pokemon trainer! Good luck on your journey! Oh, and when your next battle comes, open up that package. I'm sure it'll help in some way," Penny said as she waved and headed back into town. +What a... nice... little girl,+ Mo said, watching her blend back into the crowd. "Yeah... I'm surprised I got something from her," Ironhide said. +What's in the package, hmm?+ Mo asked. "I'll wait to open it, like Penny said, until a battle comes," Ironhide said, slinging her pack over her shoulder again. +Aww, you're no fun,+ Mo protested. Ironhide just chuckled a bit as she continued on to the next route, not far from the town.
