A man stood behind the counter, heaps of shiny discs around him and even more in boxes stacked on the shelves.

An Absol and Chikorita strutted in to the shop. They both had a peculiar red colouration to their fur - though, for the Absol, this was due to it being a shiny.
{Are you sure this is a good idea, hey, Absol?}
{Sure it is. Come on, I just want to know. Anyway, we can look at something for you, too. And for Murkrow.}
{Well, when you put it like that...}
The Absol paused in front of the stall and pulled out a pen from somewhere. Holding it clumsily in his mouth, he began to write, with a slow squeaking. The two got together and conferred a couple of times; finally, the canine held up the board between its teeth. It read:

The Absol grinned and flicked its tail happily.

Absol grinned, nodded, and grabbed the board in his maw. The Chikorita looked pleadingly up at him, and he sighed. From somewhere else game a bag-purse, and he pulled out $1,000SH and placed it on the counter. He tapped where it read 'SubStITute' helpfully. The red-pink Chikorita giggled happily and skipped from side to side.
{I'm going to get a new move, get a new mo-ove!}
