Appearance
Optimus is like any other Lucario, except different...Coloring. Where he would normally be blue, he is red. And, where he would normally be black, he is blue. Though, his yellow placings are still the same. He is around 3'0", and weighs a little less than 90 lbs.
History
Optimus was a lab experiment ever since the day he hatched from his egg. He was poked, prodded, injected with things he didn't even want to know what it was, forced to fight other Pokemon that had been in the lab, and at night, was in a cage. After the five years he spent in there, he would have much preferred to be in a Pokeball than in the small, metal cage he and the other poor Pokemon were forced to stay in.
On his fifth birthday since hatching from his egg, he was finally allowed to evolve, after many times of being forced not to. He had gotten some discoloring when he was younger, and it had taken effect. But, when he evolved it was much more noticeable. He turned out to be like a normal Lucario, but, where he was supposed to be black, he was blue, and where was supposed to be blue, he was red. The only normal thing about him was his middle, his nose, and the color of the studs on his paws and chest.
On his sixth birthday, he refused to listen. He had had the last straw. It had gotten worse and worse, but more endureable since he had gotten used to so many little testings and such. He was severely punished, but, it unleashed his rage finally on the scientists there. He had never meant to harm anyone, and ended up almost killing a few. He made his escape, along with the ten other Pokemon that had been there with him for almost as long as he had. Though, they all split up, leaving each other, going as far away from the lab as possible.
Now, Optimus, as he called himself, is a loner. He likes helping wherever and whenever he can, within reason. He is very protective, though he has no friends. He is stronger than a Lucario his age should be, due to the lab back when he was still captive there. Heck, if he had stayed there, he would have perhaps become the strongest Pokemon they had ever seen. Luckily, he had not been caught by any of the scientists there, so he was free to go, free to roam the lands, learning as much as he could since he had no idea of the outside world.
Personality
Optimus is most of the time the quiet type, not very talkative. He prefers being in small groups than large groups. And, hates being mocked. He is sensitive when it the subject of his past comes about. Sometimes, if he is not liking a certain someone/somebody, he will think of somethign negative to say to them dealing with what they are talking about, or just completely ignore them in a rude way.
When it comes to other Pokemon of the same species but opposite gender, it doesn't effect him much. He has never had a love, and he hopes he never will. Lending a helping paw is what he is used to doing, when he's in a good mood.
Other
Like in the movie, he can 'see' aura. And he can use telepathy.
