://Full Speed Ahead
Dylan had barely gotten his starter Pokemon in his hands before he had thanked the Professor and almost sprinted out the door and hopped on his bike, kicking it to life, and made off for Route One. He had adjusted the Carborator so it wouldn't make too much noise as he rode through the route, thus disturbing the pokemon. The slightly curvy road would take him about two or so hours, verses the several it would take to hoof it, and he was elated about it. This part of the journey always seemed to last forever in his mind, even though not many exciting things happen. Dylan went over his plan as he twisted the throttle to pick up speed as he rounded a corner. He would ride his cruiser to the first town, where he would try to sell it to the nearest person. After all, A pokemon journey isn't really a journey if you fly by everything, is it? No! Of course not, but he still was going to ride it for the first leg. His starter didn't seem to really like him very much, but he was sure the big Rock-Snake would get over it eventually. Taming large pokemon was usually a matter of respect to them, and respect takes time. The Sun was beginning to Dip below the trees when he saw a large black shape behind the tree-line ahead of him. "Wonder what that could be?"

< He! Hera! >
There was a loud CRASH, and the treeline wobbled as something made contact with one of their number. Very hard contact, by the sound of it. Now what sort of creature rammed into trees?...
The answer came into view as Dylan's bike rounded the corner, breaking into the forest. A large blue Pokémon with a huge horn was licking delightedly at a split in the bark of a nearby trunk. Thick sap was running out of the crack, and the bug-type was clearly enjoying itself. It turned around at the sound of the motorbike, narrowing its eyes and levelling its horn in a way that clearly said keep off, this is my meal. Humans weren't often much of a danger, though, and this looked like just another ordinary human to the Heracross. It went back to its food, not seeming to care much about Dylan.

Esteban poked his head up out of Dylan's jacket to see why he was slowing down. The Fox pokemon, tired of being contained in his pokeball, had kept himself buried there for the past hour so he could stay on the bike with his Trainer. Dylan grabbed the clutch and shifted down as the bike slowed and eventually stopped infront of the blue bug. Esteban leaped out of his hiding place at the thought of a battle, attempting to square off with the Heracross. Dylan picked him up though, and tossed a pokeball out of his jacket instead. The 30 foot long Onix followed a brilliant flash of light as he materialized out of the energy contained inside the pokeball. "Sorry, Esteban. Heracross is part fighting type, and I don't want to see you get hurt." The Onix glared at his trainer, awaiting an order. "Onix! Tackle Attack!"Name: You can choose!Species:Onix Gender: Male Level:5 Ability: Sturdy Attacks:Mudsport, Tackle, Harden, Bind, Rockslide Personality: Stubborn, and hasn't quite taken to Dylan yet

The Heracross watched, mildly interested, as the human somehow managed to pull an Onix out of thin air. Now that was strange. Going back to its meal, the bug-type barely noticed as Dylan called an attack. However, it did notice when several tons of Onix rammed into its side.
Muttering darkly as it picked itself up, it lowered its horn at the rock-type. Normal moves were seldom much use against them, but they were basically all the Heracross had at its disposal. Running forwards, it attempted to ram the Onix with Horn Attack.

Onix didn't even get knocked back as the Bug's normal type move hit him, barely causing any damage. Dylan looked around, spying a small rock formation several meters to his left, calling to out to get Onix's attention he ordered a Rockslide against the Heracross.
Snaking over to the small formation the Onix picked the whole pile up with it's gargantuan maw and hurled them at his foe.

The attack hit home. Heracross was more than a little shocked to find half a ton of rocks being dumped unceremoniously on its head, and was flung to the floor. Getting uneasily to its feet, it rubbed a flank angrily. That had hurt. Casting around for its own opportunity to attack, Heracross' eyes inevitably landed on the closest thing available; the tree.
Digging its long claws into the bark, the Heracross climbed up until it was about level with the huge Onix. Its beady eyes searched for a weak point. No... no... no... argh, I can't find anywhere! The whole thing seems to be made of stone! Leaping off the tree, the Heracross instead picked a random point to attack; the second segment on Onix' neck. Bringing back its arm, a dark energy glowed along its length; Night Slash.
