Martyn is a tall man, with scraggly hair that he needs to get cut and tattoos on his chest. His hair is a brown-blonde, and is wavy when it is clean. He wears a black overcoat that goes to his knees overtop of his black clothing. He has blue eyes and powerful hands.
Personality
Martyn is a loner. A megalomaniac. Some say he is unstable, granted he did a number of very dangerous acts in his youth, such as setting a neighbors barn on fire when he suspected them of stealing from his family. Or the time he got into a 3-on-1 fist fight in school over one of the football players bumping into him on purpose. He is obsessed with respect. If he thinks you are undeserving of it, he'll treat you like garbage. Puts value into appearances. He wants to have the good life, nice things and the like. And he doesn't care if what he does to get is 'frowned upon' by the law and society. They don't deserve things if they are too weak and need others to protect them. That's all that laws are to him, something to watch over the weak. Not a very trusting person he is vaguely paranoid. He has stolen pokemon, sometimes to sell, others to keep. Surprisingly enough he is a humanitarian, he despises people who mistreat animals and always insists on treating captured or stolen Pokémon in a decent fashion. He is highly intelligent and sophisticated for someone of his humble roots.
Outwardly he is a handsome and charming fellow, someone who has a face you can trust. And he is quite personable to close friends and even strangers when he's not 'working'.
History
Martyn was one of the foudning members of Team Vex, so many years ago in the region of Khota. Mr. Dorian and Martyn Navarro, you couldn't seperate the two of them as teenagers. Troublemakers they were. While Dorian came from a rundown home that drove him to theivery, a life on the street is what inspired Martyn. Mugging, robbing at knifepoint, scamming, anything to keep him in money.
They started to form a gang of their close friends for more complex things. Drug Running for various other gangs and criminals, Stealing pokemon, learning how a basic gang structure worked. Some say that they got involved with an organization known as Team Rocket, but these allegations are under immense scrutiny as Team Rocket was known to be disbanded years before.
Eventually they got into the Semi-pros of ganghood, several dozen members operating in various towns across the region. The enigmatic 'Bosses' they was thought to be a ghost-like beings who could forever evade capture. Grunts who were caught could only rat out the people just above them, and the law couldn't take down any of the larger operations becuase of this. It wasn't until a few years down the line that things started to go south for Dorian and Martyn. Someone was informing.
It started with the smuggling ring. Pokémon weren't coming in as scheduled and numerous arrests were made when they finally did show up. They had to pull the plug on those operations. Then came the Drug Trafficking. After that was the money laundering circut. The whole business was crumbling around his eyes. Just after this happend, Martyn was arrested.
He was sentanced to two life sentences, back-to-back. Dorian had escaped to some unknown place called Cyradis. Bastard. He left him there, to rot in prison. Eventually though, he did escape. One of the grunts that evaded arrest used a haunter to break him out of Jail. Then Martyn fled to Sinjoeen to start up the bussiness again. He set himself up a year later, running experietments on pokemon to make them stronger, faster.
