The sun beat down on the poor Trainer. His pokemon were all out to catch some sun today as the gang headed down the Red River. Dante was wiping the many beads of presperation from his brow, staring forward. The pokemon, however, were playing around and catching as many rays as possible, which was good for Tropius.
"Hey, guys. You doing good back there?" Dante looked back to see the cheerful faces of the team, knowing he had done well. Nothing had happened after he found that Chingling. Probably because it was the strength him and his Pokemon had shown during their fight with the Nuzleaf. Still, he planned on going back there to catch the Pokemon he hadn't had a chance to meet before.
The water on the side glimmered in the radiant sun, setting of the reflection of light into the teen's eyes. He covered them quickly, shielding off any other light that may come afterwards.
(OOC:Been awhile, eh? I'll need a post or two of rusty Pokemon Rp to get back into shape. I've been so busy with Kingdom Hearts and sprites that I've just been too busy to ever check, so here it is. By the by, glad to be back.)

In the middle of a slow-moving portion of the water were three small blue Pokemon with pinkish-purple things sticking out of the side of their heads. They were splashing each other with their small, fat tails and enjoying themselves, and even singing a happy tune. With them were a few Magikarp as well, and even a couple of Horsea and Staryu. Well, looks like it's a great day to enjoy the weather; perhaps not for humans, but for Pokemon it was quite enjoyable.
A tree violently shook a few yards ahead, and then again after a few seconds, a few large berries falling from it. A Buizel scampered away with a few in its mouth and as much as it could carry in both arms towards the edge of the river, deposited them, and then scampered back to the fallen berries to gather more and take them back; it was obviously getting food for the Pokemon that were playing.
A lone figure sat a little farther down the river, watching the other curiously. It was, as far as the eye could see, the only one of its kind. It looked like a type of crab, and could perhaps pass as Krabby's cousin or something of the sort. It absent-mindedly snapped its pincers a few times at some flower seeds drifting on the rare slight breeze. It appeared to notice Dante some, and began watching him with more interest than the group of Pokemon playing in the water.
Wild Corphish has taken notice of you.
So, how will you react to your onlooker?

If he hadn't been looking around at the many Pokemon that were wandering about, he wouldn't have even noticed that silly little Corpish that was far down. It stared at Dante with wide eyes, giving off curiosity. Well, this was queer... He had never had a Pokemon in the Wild just stare at him like this Crab pokemon did. Maybe Corpish was hungry? Either that, or it was just empty minded.
Well, the Trainer decided that it was fine to walk cautiously towards the Pokemon, probably making a new friend for his journey. "Hey, little guy. What're you up too?" The teen wasn't that far away from the Corpish now. He was just now coming through the path of the Buizel. If Corpish was friendly, then all was good.
(OOC: Alright... I think I'm getting back into the groove of Pokemon Rp. I've just got to stop saying sword all the time.)

The Corphish glanced at the other Pokemon before hopping off of its perch and scuttled closer to Dante. The trainer seemed harmless enough. It couldn't hurt to make another human friend, right? After all, it didn't really fit in with the other Pokemon here; it was quite shy, of other Pokemon, at least. It wasn't rowdy, either. It preferred to be calm over rambunctious. It also seemed a bit... smarter than the others just by its appearance.
As it moved closer, its skin could be described as very glossy, almost as if it was polished every day somehow. The Corphish looked up at Dante with the same look. +The usual. Watching the younger, more rowdy Pokemon play with each other and standby to make sure none of them get hurt,+
it said, glancing back again. +Not like they need me, though. Never had an accident, though it's fascinating watching the younger ones,+ it said. This Corphish almost sounded a bit protective, and a bit feminine. Perhaps it was a mother that had once had children to look after and was a bit superstitious? Who knows; still seems friendly enough. ((Forgot to post this in my last post. It's good to have you back! And, you're better than ever, Dante ))

Dante smiled at the Corpish, reaching for an extra berry in his bag to give to it. Of course, the male couldn't speak Pokemon, but he could guess, right? Ah, the world of Pokemon. A mysterious wonder that can hopefully be defined in the near future. Maybe then, the Trainer would be able to know the feelings of any given Pokemon, calming it down the best way possible.
So, finally grasping ahold of a berry, Dante placed it towards the Corpish, smiling a little bit brighter. From what he could see, this Crab pokemon had a much glossier shell than that of a Krabby he had met once before his journey in the Sinnoh Region. The playful Pokemon behind Dante finally stopped in their tracks, staring at the Corpish with greeting eyes. Tropius spoke for the group, knowing that none of them would do so. "Oh, my. Aren't you a pretty one. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Beldum gave a off the radiance of happiness, while Chingling and Horsea spoke. "Hello, there." "Hey. How's it going?"
[OOC: Great to be back, Iron. Eh, I could be better when making up the posts. Sometimes, I just don't give a darn.]

The Corphish took the berry gladly and shoved it into her mouth, chewing quietly and contentedly. Well, it didn't seem as though this human could understand her, but that was nothing new. There was always a way to communicate with the humans, whether through their Pokemon that they knew better, or by acting.
+Oh, well, uh... thank you,+
the Corphish said in response to the Tropius. She had never received a single compliment about anything, and it was quite awkward. +It's a pleasure to meet you all, too,+ she replied to all of the rest. ((Eh, I have the same problem every now and then... either that, or I just have writer's block, like I do now... -facepalm-))

The young trainer smiled as he heard his Pokemon converse with the Corpish. It made him feel nice, knowing that his Pokemon knew when to be good and when to play around. Dante looked around, noting the other Pokemon around the river. "So, do you like the berry?" His other four Pokemon gathered around the trainer, awaiting Corpish's answer. You don't usually see this kind of shy behavior with Pokemon. They're usually quick in an action and don't give a darn wether that choice gets them in trouble or not.
He hadn't seen shyness since his first year of becoming a Trainer. It was with his Staraptor. When he had first caught it as a Starly, it wouldn't hang out with his other Pokemon, but would hide under the brush to keep away from them. It stayed like this until it turned into a Staravia, it's childish attitue becoming that of a teenager's. The resting champion wonderd if his championship Pokemon were having fun with Prof.Hide. The first town that they arrive in, he was going to check up on them.

Corphish nodded. ~The berry is delicious, yes. Thank you.~ she said. First of all the first compliment ever, then the first gift. The crab was beginning to like that Tropius. And the trainer. She hoped they could be good friends forever, but to do that, she would have to leave the river. It wasn't as though there was anything there for her, but it was her home. Maybe there was a way she could descide... of course. Yes, it was so obvious!
~I'm not sure if I should go with you guys. How about we battle to find out?~ Corphish asked, snapping her claws offensively.
