This is a DOUBLE PROFILE. Look closely and you'll see that there are two characters. As this is on the adoption board, this means that I will adopt a character, and you will adopt a character. Or... someone else. There's only one adoptable character to go around. They'll travel together (at least, at first they will, then it's up to you I guess) and no, you cannot have both. I'm greedy like that. Also, I'm kinda attached to Tobi. So you can't have him unless you ask really, really nicely. xP

Also, this is written alternately by Tobi and Mari. The bits about Mari are from Tobi, and vice-versa. Please excuse all the jibes in between the actual profile, but... brotherly/sisterly love, y'know?

Okay, where to start? My jerky sister Mari has long black hair, almost down to her back, and that's probably her most striking feature. It's actually in pretty good condition; glossy and nice, and she must spend an eon brushing it because it never seems to have any tangles in it. The tips are all white; from her shorter fringe down to the long hair on the end of her back, her hair is black with white tips. I dunno if she dyes it. Probably not; our parents have similar white-on-black hair colouring, so.
Seriously, if you like how your face looks right now, don't criticize Mari's hair, don't laugh, and whatever you do, don't touch it.
Stop. Right now. Go back and read that again. Don't even try to touch it. Don't mess it up and don't touch it. Trust me, she has a mean right hook.
On to other things? Her skin's pretty pale; then again, that goes for all our family. Her face is kinda heart-shaped, or so she likes to tell me. I guess other guys might find her pretty, beautiful even. She doesn't use any make-up; trust me, I'd be getting at her every day of the week if she did. Her eyes are blue-grey and she's got pretty small eyelashes, so she doesn't go in for all that flutter-flutter-stuff with her eyelids. I think she relies on body language more than facial expressions, to be honest.
She's slightly shorter than the average girl her age, but she makes up for it in weight. She's approximately 110 pounds (a little bit more, I think), but she's not fat or anything (she'd kill me if I said she was). It's mainly because of her muscle structures. I mean, it's like they say; muscle is thicker than fat.
Well, okay, no. I made that one up. To be honest, it's not even very funny. But the point is, she's got thick muscles on her arms, sides and thighs, so she weighs a bit more than the average fourteen-year old girl. Then again, the average fourteen-year old girl doesn't do several forms of kung-fu, primarily Fujian White Crane.
Uh, she's quite skinny. There's not much flesh on her, just bone and muscle. She's not super-strong or anything, but nothing goes to waste on her.
She's got powerful thighs and calves (I say 'powerful' because she'd give me a taste of her White Crane boxing if I said thick or fat) and surprisingly small feet. Her spine doesn't stick out at all on her back; it's nice and smooth, like most of her skin.

Compared to me, Tobi's actually pretty tall. It's like he's been stretched out, or something; he's got a slight body structure, with most of the muscle centered around his back and calves. That works well for his fighting style but still makes him look kinda like a washed-up rubber band.
In height, he's about... five foot four? Five-five? And he weighs in at around 87 pounds, so you can tell he's pretty skinny. His hair is nowhere near as nice as mine. Okay, it's glossy, and pretty thick, and luscious (or so he likes to think), but it's really short. It goes approximately down to the base of his skull, and it's mostly black. He has a long fringe that falls over one eye, and that part's white. I think it's dyed, personally. I mean, it's not like he'd magically get white hair colouring in that one place. He's pretty proud of his hair, and does not like to get anything stuck in it, which makes it extra funny when something does.
His face? Why do you want to know about that? Well, it's quite long and thin. His eyes are paler than mine, more grey than anything else, and he uses a lot of facial expressions. I like to think I can tell what he's thinking about just by his face. Okay, sometimes I can't, but most of the time. He grins a lot of the time. His teeth are incidentally in two perfect rows (unlike mine, which are kinda crooked).
Bodily structure-wise... well, physically he's almost the opposite of me. He's quite lanky, and you can see most of his bones - his spine, his shoulder-blades, etcetera. Like I said, nearly all of his muscles are centered around his calves, upper back and wrists, which works just fine for his fighting style. He doesn't do much strenuous activity, as opposed to my White Crane boxing, which is probably why he never developed much of a musculature structure. Still, to balance that out he's very fast, and though he's small he's nimble. He can jump quite high and likes to show off his acrobatics and climbing (which, let me tell you, is really very annoying).
His skin is darker than mine, and more orange, if anything. It's also normally quite cold, and the blood vessels run close to the surface. You can see all his veins and stuff, it's totally gross! Almost as bad as his fingers - they're really thin and bony. Eeeeew, am I right? Yeah, maybe he should take up knitting or something. He also chews his nails like a five-year-old. I mean, come on, what's up with that? It's a nervous twitch, I think - he starts om-nom-nommin' on them whenever he's anxious or worried, which is why they're all torn and horrible. I don't paint my nails or anything, but yeesh, even I have standards.
Yeah, other than that, he's pretty boring. No interesting birthmarks or scars of note on either of us, in case you were wondering.
