Ironhide approached the Power Plant slowly, sure to avoid any tall grassy areas nearby and to make her way quickly to the entrance so as not to attract any Pokemon outside to her. Right now, she wasn't really caring about capturing Pokemon, or even battling. She wanted to help Celebi rid her ever-long hunger for power she couldn't control. It was the last thing she'd do if she could help it. What Team Vex had done to make Melebi, and what they had made her become was just inhuman.
Ironhide made her way through the door, not sure of what to expect. At the present moment, she knew she would be safe, but as she made her way into the building and away from the door, it was possible she might even get stalked; something she had been thinking about. She took Alvaro and Mo's PokeBalls and released them. "Alright. I want you two to keep an eye and ear out for anything that might be nearby. Melebi I know can take care of herself, so only worry about yourselves. I don't know how long it's been since a trainer has been here, if ever, so the Pokemon here might not be too friendly at all," she explained. +Will do,+
Alvaro said, still a little awkward around Ironhide. Their bond had not yet been completely sealed, and although Alvaro liked Ironhide, he wasn't completely comfortable around her quite yet. Mo, on the other hand, well... he liked Mo. If the two were out together, they were like two peas in a pod. Alvaro could use his Aura to detect if anything was nearby, and Mo could use his Psychic-powers; it was a great match-up on Ironhide's behalf. The first floor wasn't too extraordinary. There were a few walls that divided hallways that led off to side rooms, where Ironhide did not dare venture to in case there would be lurkers of both human and Pokemon alike. The place was definitely used and kept clean, but she had heard only the stronger trainers came in if anything went wrong. There were quite a few things to loot here, but she had no interest in that. Alvaro was presently clinging to Mo's shoulder, his eyes closed and ears raised, on the alert for any sign of Pokemon ready to attack them.

As they ventured further down, the building felt more deadly and foreboding. Melebi shivered; the energy down here was imense, although none of it was able to be used. It was strange energy to the legendary. One- no, two- voices only audible to more able ears were picked up by the Pokemon, and she flew swiftly towards the source. Yes, there was definately something alive in there; this was comfirmed by the shadows flickering across the wall. One of them, she could tell, was some sort of dog, the other floating. She could sense they were extremely powerful.
~Watch out. Insanely strong Pokemon up ahead.~ she murmered softly to the others. The shadows stopped, and she sensed their alarm, before they began moving again.
They rounded a corner and the view of the twosome was complete. A Luxray and Magnezone were ruthlessly attacking a machine, elecriticity spilling out of it at a great rate. They were so absorbed in their work that they did not notice the group enter. ~I'm telling you, the red wire connects to the blue and the yellow to the power source, and this one to that!~ Luxray insisted, switching a view parts around with expert paws. ~And I keep telling you that what we're doing is impossible!~ sighed Magnezone angrily.

Ironhide did not feel comfortable at all around here. She hoped she would live to tell the tale of going to the heart of the Power Plant, saving the evil Celebi and perhaps even catching a strong electric-type. "Be wary up ahead," Alvaro said to Ironhide using telepathy at just the same time that Melebi had. Great, this is just what we need. Two strong electric-types... she thought to herself.
Mo flattened himself against a wall, in the shadows, with Alvaro going to the shadiest part of where he could hang on to him as he carefully watched the Luxray and Magnezone. "Is there any way to get around them without alerting them that you can see?" Ironhide whispered, mainly to Melebi, but to Mo and Alvaro as well. Mo and Alvaro began quietly looking around for any trap doors, staircases, anything that could get them past the possibly dangerous Luxray and Magnezone. Whatever they were doing was enough to keep them occupied, and they looked like they did not want to or need to be disturbed.

Luxary's ears perked up as it heard Ironhide's speech. It's partner looked at it, confused, then the wolf put a paw to it's lips. They were silent, eyes searching for the source of the sound. Melebi could see the trainer, nor many trainers at that, would be able to defeat these Pokemon. She knew that she could defeat most things. She floated in, acting wide-eyed and innocent.
Magnezone took a gasp. ~Celebi... Luxray, look! Celebi! A legendary! An actual legendary, visiting us!~ it buzzed with excitement. Luxray backed slowly away, hissing to it's partner. ~No, moron. Look at the colouring; that's Melebi, a mutated and evil version. Probably going to kill us for what we're doing.~ it growled bravely, the fur on it's neck and back bristling.
Melebi flew about anxiously. ~No, you have mistaken me. I am here to do good. I wish to find someone to help me. My only way to gain power at the moment is to fight or kill. I was hoping there would be another way.~ she asked politely, voice full of hope.
Luxary scratched it's maned head with a paw. ~I guess we could trust you... what we've been trying to do it steal some electrical energy from the air and concentrate it to make it useful. See, we get stronger when charged up. Other Pokemon feel comfortable with all the energy drifting about, but we knew it wasn't doing any good, so came into this secret room. Hey! If it can power us, maybe it can power you! But you'd have to help us finish, of course. You and your little friends.~ it rumbled, pointing at where Ironhide was.

Ironhide could only watch as Melebi went to go face-to-face with the Luxray and Magnezone. Obviously the Magnezone wasn't the brightest of Pokemon, she could tell. She hoped that the Luxray wouldn't attack Melebi... as much as Melebi wanted to be good, and Ironhide had come to like her, she knew that Melebi would likely retaliate, and be unable to stop. The Luxray seemed smart enough, though... Well, at least smarter than the Magnezone. It seemed much more confident, brave.
Ironhide was surprised at what Melebi had said; and they had so easily believed her, too. It had taken Ironhide some convincing, but she finally believed. Well, if they were that easy to persuade, then this shouldn't be a problem. Helping Melebi out, that is.
The Luxray and Magnezone had a great idea; trying to get energy from that machine was genius! And, if it did power them, then if could, likely, help Melebi as well. Even the Luxray realized that. Ironhide froze when the Luxray mentioned 'you and your little friends'. It had offended and scared her at the same time. She wasn't little. Alvaro might be little, but his evasiveness and speed made up for that. Mo wasn't so little anymore, so... obviously it wasn't pleased that they were here. She stayed where she was, scared of the large, wild Luxray and Magnezone. If she did one wrong thing, they could attack; she'd heard of stories about wild Pokemon gone, well... wild. Wild enough to attack innocent trainers. Mo, however, didn't mind the danger, and almost seemed to glide out of his hiding place, Alvaro clinging to his back, a little unnerved. +And how are we supposed to help, exactly?+
Mo asked. He wanted to help, but... there wasn't a whole lot that he himself could do. Alvaro maybe, but he was useless, or close to it.

Luxray padded up to them and looked them in the eye. It- no, he- had a look of intelligence, not threat, although strength was definately there in his rippling muscles. He spoke again. ~You have nimbler fingers than ours. My paws are too large for some jobs. And there are a few things we don't understand. The Psychic type should know,~[/color he said, pointing at Mo with his chunky paws. He held them higher. ~See? No opposable thumb. You, however...~ he took Ironhide's had in his. It was clear the human one was built for fiddly tasks, Luxray's made for power.
He led them over to Magnezone, whom he refered to as male. Magnezone floated down to look into the mass of wires and stuff, Luxray motioning for the others to do this as well. On closer inspection, some of the wires were dangling beside thin gaps which would barely admit them, others rest on the floor, too small to be worked on by the Pokemon. Magnezone nodded as best as he could, then Luxray pointed at where he needed things to go. Simple, really; red wire to blue socket, green wire to yellow... that sort of thing.

Ironhide felt a little bit better as the Luxray didn't look exactly threatening anymore. Once he explained the situation, she felt herself walking forward without hesitation or even an afterthought. Of course; Pokemon didn't have thumbs. Well, unless you wanted to call Mr. Mime's hands hands and call those hands good hands compared to any other Pokemon's. Most Pokemon's paws were made for running, power, and other things. Humans had it easy, though, in most cases; theirs were easy to work, though having them bigger would be a plus in some situations. Mo was surprised that the Luxray mentioned him, of everyone there. Sure, he was a Psychic-type, and knew things that even he didn't know, but would that really come in handy here, now?
Alright, so, both the Magnezone and Luxray were a male, Ironhide noted. She would remember that for the near future references... Ironhide kneeled down, following the Luxray's instructions on how to connect the wires; she knew how to do most of it, having worked on cars before becoming a trainer, but this was a little more complex. With the Luxray telling her what to do, and Mo helping out a little bit here and there, she finished wiring the whatever-it-was. It looked like a machine to her, but she couldn't be sure. She stood up and stepped back, having lost track of time; it could have been only seconds, or it could have been much longer than that.

Luxray grinned broadly. ~YES! Finally! Thanks, trainer! Now we've just got to test it out!" he said excitedly. Magnezone sighed; he knew there was no-one foolish enough to test out a machine capable of killing rather than healing if things went wrong. Of course, he did not say this, but be felt it was pretty clear all the same. His eyes glanced across the group in search of a brave face, or some other sign of this.
~I'll do it.~
All eyes were on Melebi as she walked up to the machine. ~I'm the only one who might stand a chance if... things went wrong. And if things went right, I wouldn't have to hurt things any more.~ she explained. Luxray nodded grimly, placing what looked like a bowl with tentacles on her head. She squeezed her eyes shut as the wolf flicked the switch, making the machine hum gently. The haze of uncomfortable energy lessened. The machine's bowl-thing on Melebi's head began to vibrate slightly. Her paws curled into fists. Then-
~Aaaah...~ a relaxed sigh came from Melebi as her muscles ceased to be tense. When the helmet came off, she rolled her shoulders, grinning. ~It works. And what's more, I don't have a strong urge to kill you.~ when she said this, Luxray shivered. He looked over to the Legedary clone and said, ~I bet it won't last forever. You'll have to keep coming back until you've used it enough to cure you.~ he explained, and Melebi nodded.
Melebi then flew over to Ironhide. ~Thank you. For everything. I think I know a way I can repay you. When you're strong enough to defeat the Champion, and when I'm cured, I will join you. Be like Mo is to you; one of your team. For training, battling, whatever. I am in a debt to you, and that is the best way to repay it. I'm excited for our next meeting, Ironhide. Goodbye, and good luck.~ she said, smiling. Well, that's not something you catch every day. Not bad for a run-in with an evil legedary, that outcome, huh? As Melebi floated off to her new companions, a few tears- yes, actual tears!- fell from her cheek. She was sad to say goodbye, but luckily they would meet again.

Ironhide just nodded, not sure of how the 'testing' thing would work out. She knew who would want to test it, but didn't want to say anything. What if it didn't work? What if something went wrong, and Melebi got... worse? Or, worse yet... even died because of it? She didn't show her concerns, but sure was thinking it, and was a little tense. Alvaro noticed that, and hopped onto her shoulder, trying to ease her tenseness.
Of course, it was obvious that if something did go wrong, Melebi would likely withstand it. But, still... Ironhide sighed, giving up on her thoughts, as she watched the machine working on Melebi. She watched with interest as it hummed to life, and even took a cautious step back, just in case.
Ironhide was surprised that the machine actually worked. And, Melebi even seemed a bit relaxed, too. Well, who wouldn't after the craving for killing was gone, even if only for a while? Ironhide almost giggled when Melebi said she didn't have the urge to kill the Luxray and he shivered. Things would take a while to become permanent, so... this was a good start, definitely.
"I was glad to help, Melebi. No Pokemon deserves to go through what you went through. You were lucky, though; I don't think I'll be able to say so for any other legendaries, though, if they are unlucky enough to get caught and cloned," she said. She watched as Melebi went, curious as to if she actually saw tears coming from her. She didn't bother asking, but merely waved, and then turned back to the Luxray and Magnezone. Well... this was a bit awkward. She didn't feel afraid anymore, just a bit nervous around such large Pokemon that she didn't know. Her thoughts drifted to when she would next meet Melebi... after she beat the League? To some that would seem like forever, but to her... it was so close.

Melebi was helped! Alvaro gains a Happiness Point! Once Melebi was out of sight, the occasional grunt, growl or snuffle of a Pokemon was heard. The accoustics of the room amplified the noise a lot, so creatures on the opposite end of the hazy corridors could be heard, none actually coming into view. As the last few sets of stairs were climbed, the open air coming into view, four Pokemon were finally seen. They were all moving away. A Plusle was twitching it's little ears, and kept turning back nervously to gaze upon the back of a viscious-looking Minun, whose face was scrunched into a snarl. An Electrike, prowling away confidently, nose tasting the air, and finally a Mareep, skipping along with a smile on it's face. From the speed of their paces, only one could be met, or Ironhide could pass by all four. After all, the light was only-
Craaaaack.
A tiny voice aconpanied a splintering shatter from Ironhide's backpack. ~Bulba?~ it squeaked, attempting to nudge the zipper along with moderate success; the tiny form fell into Ironhide's arms. The Bulbasaur blinked wide red eyes, looking up at it's new trainer with admiration. There was intelligence in those eyes, also; how else would it manage to undo a zipper? As a bonus, it was extremely cute. Wild Plusle, Minun, Electrike and Mareep have appeared! Ironhide's egg hatched into a lickle Bulbasaur!

Ironhide began attempting to find her way out, bidding her farewell to the Luxray and Magnezone. Despite her fears, it had turned out quite well. With all the nosie she could hear now, she wasn't sure where exactly all of the noise was coming from. It was hard to tell, what with the rooms being so large and such. She paused at the stairs when some Pokemon finally came into view. Ah, well, there was the source of some of the noise. But... which one to take on, if any of them wanted a fight? All of them, none, or one? Well, she could go by all four of them, but... that wouldn't be the best of choices she knew. Before she could take a step, she stopped in her tracks as she heard a crack from her backpack. What on eartch could have cracked in her pack...?
Then she remembered. She had received an egg not too long ago; she gasped as the small Pokemon even let itself out of her pack and plopped itself into her arms. It was a Bulbasaur! She couldn't believe it. How was she that lucky? Well, though it had hatched, it technically was still wild, but... she already had six Pokemon with her. If she tried to catch it now, it would go to the PC; not the best place for a newly-hatched Pokemon. How had it unzipped the backpack, though? Could it be that this Bulbasaur had a high intelligence level? Most likely so. She gazed fondly back at the Bulbasaur, and began affectionately rubbing its head. "Boy, aren't you a cutie?" she said. Alvaro gave a small cough to remind her where they were; not the best of places to be caught off-guard, especially with four wild Pokemon so close, too. Well, she'd take whatever one noticed her first; whether it be one or all. She took a few steps toward the nearest one, keeping the newly-hatched Bulbasaur in her arms as she progressed, Mo and Alvaro trailing beside her.

As Bulbasaur gave Ironhide a huge lick and a giggle, Mareep came trotting over. Her fur crackled as she walked over; the static between the wool and her legs was causing it to charge up. This was natural for Mareep, of course. It cocked it's head to one side as it looked at Ironhide. By the look of it, it should have already evolved; perhaps there was something about the atmosphere in here which was stopping this? If so, it might be a Mareep for not much longer; Melebi's machine was making the static buzz in the air weaken.
Mareep pounded the ground wwith a hoof. ~Trainer! I have been trying to evolve for a while now. I want to fight you! Do you accept?~ the sheep challenged, trying to look threatening.

Ironhide watched as the Mareep became 'the one'. Ah, a Mareep... joy. She had heard a lot of rumors about Mareep, and had actually thought about getting one herself, but decided against it. Well, now proved why she decided not to earlier; something told her she'd have a run-in with one later on. From the looks of it, though, the Mareep looked strong enough to evolve. If that was the case, why hadn't it evovled yet?
"I accept your challenge, Mareep," Ironhide said. She took a Pokeball from her belt carefully while holding the Bulbasaur in the other arm. "Alright Geth, let's see what you've got now!" she said, as she released her green Bagon. +Oh, gee thanks. I don't get to know where we're going? And, your egg hatched? Thanks for the notice!+
Geth said in a complaining tone. "Geth, right now I need you to focus. I came here to help Melebi; you know that. Melebi left, and the egg hatched shortly after she left, and now this Mareep wants a challenge. Or, are you too upset to do anything? Because I can let Alvaro take care of it if you can't," Ironhide said. +Hey! I didn't say anything about battling! I was just joking, sheesh!+ Geth said, not taking what Ironhide had said lightly. He knew she knew that was the way to get him to battle; that made him all the more wired up. +Alright, fluffball, bring it!+ he challenged the Mareep.

Bulbasaur giggled in excitement, wriggling up Ironhide's arm to view it's first battle. It was then noticeble that the one of the darker marks- this one on the back of it's neck- was heart shaped. Ah, how cute. It looked back at Ironhide, grinning. ~The Geth strong. Me strong! You make me strong! Yay, yay! Happy trainer!~ it gurgled. Okaaaaay... well, at least, other than the hyperness, it seemed to have accepted Ironhide as it's trainer.
Mareep's wool had a zap of static run through it. Ree-e-e-e-e-e-ep!~ it- no, she- bleated, lowering her blue head. The low buzz of electricity in her wool grew to a crackle, and she raised her head again, a furious battle cry on her lips. Tendrils of thick blue electricity shot out from her body; Thundershock.

Ironhide couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the obvious hypernes in the young Bulbasaur. She loosened her grip on the newly-hatched Bulbasaur so that it could see the battle that Geth would be fighting in. She was glad, though- she didn't have to get the Bulbasaur to completely warm up to her. It seemed to like her, if not at least not dislike her.
'Oh, great. I'm battling a female sheep of electricity...'
Geth thought to himself, staring the Mareep in the eyes. He watched as she lowered her head and readied for a Thundershock. He was surprised with what he heard Ironhide tell him to do. "Geth, charge at it! Use a Shadow Claw when you're close enough!" she said. Was she nuts?! Gulping, he ran at the Thundershock, ready for a world of pain. When he ran into the blue electricity, he was surprised at how much it didn't hurt. Wait... electricity didn't affect him much, did it? Well, if used enough it would, but an attack here and there... boy, she was brilliant! Not nuts- just thinking ahead. Geth jumped into the air, away from the Thundershock as he neared the Mareep, and dark black claws with a purple glow extended from his right hand. He attempted a swipe at the Mareep as he came down.
