((Kodemon is not the only one who can write! Hahahahaha!))
I ran home from school today as fast as I could. Not just to be rid of those horrible teachers and lessons, but to find out my test results. The results for the test I took to get into a Pokemon Trainer school. I'd heard they were so much better than ordinary schools, plus you got your own Pokemon. It was the next best thing to taking the Pokemon League challenge, which my parents say I can't do unless I graduate from a Trainer School.
When my house finally came into view, I flung myself at the door, pouding it with my fist. My mother, Talo, opened the door. A serious expression was on her face, and my excited grin faded. Then she held up a letter and broke into a smile. Mine was larger than hers.
Talo shook out the letter and began to read it out loud. "Dear Laito Seleri, we are delighted to inform you that you have passed the test for Suitay Academy. You will be one of the fifteen lucky students joining next term. Please come a week before term starts to recieve your first Pokemon and meet your new classmates and teachers." she read. The letter went on a bit more, but she didn't read that out. Instead, she gave it to me and I read the details of locations, dates and dorms. As I ran upstairs, I wondered what sort of Pokemon my first would be. I hoped for a wolf Pokemon. I loved them.
That night I made a calender counting down the days until I would recieve my first Pokemon. Ordinarily, the wait would have driven me crazy. This time, however, was fine. The summer holidays started on Wednesday, and it was Monday today. The summer would be enjoyable and so stop me from going crazy with impatience. After all, they would need plenty of time to catch the Pokemon we would be using. When I went to bed, I crossed out the first day; the 21st July. I knew most people in my class had similar calenders counting down until the 23rd, and that two of them were starting their journies, two were going to other, worse trainer schools where the Pokemon were the common sort and the graduates had not managed to train their Pokemon as well in the ones with entrance exams, and the rest of my class were going to normal schools.
The following day came and went. Noone else had got into the best Pokemon Training Academy, and even the ones starting a journey were jeleous; my Pokemon would level up faster due to all the classes and stuff. Finally, the summer holidays arrived and I was more excited than ever. I talked to one of the future journy people, who would be starting out on my first day of school, and they were just as excited, if a little jeleous that I got a whole extra week beforehand to get to know my Pokemon.
