Charles is definitely not the best of trainers. But, he loves his Pokemon to death, and is happy with where they are at...His only two left. One, his starter, and his first-caught Pokemon. He is very attached to them, and doesn't want to fight with them, unless it's an emergency, so don't get your hopes up with fighting him...It would be nearly impossible to beat him anyways, as you will see in a moment.
