Appearance
Lynn is a little tall for her age, standing around 5' 4" and still growing, though not shooting up like a sprig. Her frame is slender and the slightest bit willowy, far more like a young girl's than a woman's, although any fragility is canceled out by lithe muscle, standing out slightly but not noticably along her upper arms and legs and lining her stomach. Over this muscle is a small layer of leftover child fat, finely spread out over her body and not pocketed in any places, save for the soles of her feet and her toes, leaving her stomach and shoulders flat and fine. She has is soft, pale skin, holding a faint pinkish pastel-yellow tinge, a few shades lighter than the normal human. Her skin has the clear smoothness between that of a young child's and an adolescent's; she does not sport any of the bumps or pore-clogs seen in teenagers or pre-teens yet.
Being very limber, her bones flex comfortably underneath her skin, giving her characterisitcally sharp shoulderbones when her arms swing at her sides that lift any kind of somewhat form-hugging shirt off the area underneath the points slightly. When twisting an arm around, the shoulderblades lift high off their initial resting places, poking very sharply outward in a way that could be considered faintly grotesque by some. Her arms are slender like her bodybuild and slightly long for her height, sliding down into well-defined but small wrists. Again, the wristbone sticks out in what many call an "violinist's wrist". The hands and palms are slightly large, fingers long but padded with toughened skin on their lowersides, the tips calloused. On her left hand (she's right-handed although she is fairly ambedextrious) is a long scar, seven or eight months old. Clearly her injury was a bad laceration from the knuckle of her index finger to the end of the hand-bone connecting to the pinky, a slash that wasn't very well cared for. The scar is much whiter than her hand, edges outlined in a fleshy pink, raised 3 mm in height and around a little more than 3 mm wide. Due to the careless healing process, on rainy or super-cold days, the scar tends to throb somewhat, making Lynn uncomfortable. On that hand, hiding the scar is a biker's glove, a bit dirty and worn from the long time that Lynn has had it. It starts at the wrist, just in front of the wrist-bone, a thick, pliant dark teal cloth stretching upward and fitting smugly around her hand. The glove extends upward to the first joint of each finger, ending there with a small black border, which leaves the last joint and fingertips free. The back of the glove has half of a pokeball symbol on it in black, while the palm is plain. The other hand has no glove on it.
Like her shoulderblades, her hipbones are sharper and can be seen through thin and leg-hugging pants (although Lynn rarely wears such things). If Lynn is wearing a bathing suit, her ribcage can be distinguished from her stomach easily, the actual ribs hidden by the thin layer of kiddie fat. Her thighs and legs keep the same willowy but lithe from travel theme that the rest of her body has, ending in bony ankles. When barefoot, like most people who are tall, her feet are rather large. Her toes are abnormally long, the joints well-defined. Lynn has excellent control over her toes, a skill gained from climbing trees almost constantly.
Her eyes are more of a blue aquamarine. She travels with a tight pack on her back with necessities such as a change of clothes/sleeping roll, etc. On her left hand there is a long scar (explained in History) and she keeps a biking glove over that hand, keeping her fingers out in the open but covering her palm and the back of her hand, since when exposed to colder weather the scar tends to throb somewhat. Generally she is seen in loose, comfortable clothing, preferring khakis and camo-pants over jeans as well as T-shirts. For cold weather, she has a ashy gray windbreaker jacket, which is a little dusty since she's traveled with it for a long time, although it keeps the heat in well.
Personality
Generally cheerful and easygoing, although when Lynn fixes her mind on something, she'll do it, even if she eventually does end up doing it in a rather roundabout way. She gets distracted easily and sometimes forgets what she's doing or what she is supposed to be doing, if she isn't focused enough. Depending on the situation and mood she can she can be cowardly, brave, or stupidly brave. She enjoys high places, especially trees, where she can look down on things and observe people and pokemon.
History
Lynn grew up knowing Pokemon pretty well--her mother was a retired Gym Leader in another region and always kept her party around her--Shiny Leafeon, Meganium, Bellossom, Shiftry, and Torterra. She knew them well and at first, as a young child, was content with her life at home. However, she did pretty badly in school, partly from lack of trying and partly from just not being good at the school material. Even worse was when a disease swept through her town, disabling her father. Their family began to have financial problems, so Lynn's mother traveled to another region and trained to become a Pokemon Ranger, sending money back as she worked.
When she became 11 or so, her father decided to send her on a journey to become a Pokemon Trainer considering she didn't really have the drive to do much else. Due to her horrible navigation skills, it took her almost a year to get from her region to the Sinjoenn Region. During this time, she had traversed over many different kinds of terrain, including mountains, fields, and forests.
